kurt vonnegut was a big leftie and harrison bergeron was meant as a satire of the criticisms of the left in his time. if you told him how close we have come to his satire dystopia he'd probably roll his eyes and quip something like: "sure, and bakeries are sued into bankruptcy for refusing to bake gay wedding cakes"

I think we can all agree it is time for a national conversation about assault biceps how can any civilized society allow unrestricted access to free weights what is needed is a federal program of gym licensing. only sufficiently progressive men, who have a proven track record of checking their privilege can be allowed access to exercise equipment

if a war with the threat of actual casualties rolls around they will all suddenly get pregnant and be relieved of duty "women in the armed forces" is not about women actually serving as military. it's another resource relocation scheme. clearing the way for women to collect gibmedats and scoring an ideological point along the way
