This is exactly what happened to me.

This is a great question to ask. The LVM that I’ve gone on dates with have all admitted that they don’t eat vegetables. I’m a foodie so naturally I bring up the topic of food very early on. It’s shocking how many men don’t eat vegetables regularly or at all. Only eat fatty foods. Then they wonder why they are in their 40’s and having heart attacks.

I cringe at some of the things I did and situations I put myself in prior to finding fds. The wild thing is after awhile, I started realizing a lot of the things FDS talks about (LVM traits) and how common these types of men are. At the time, I just didn’t know of a group to discuss this stuff with others. I’m so grateful to have found this sub bc I really was ready to throw in the towel and give up hope. That’s why I will always support this group.

It’s true! You find better stuff if you’re by a major city. Small town Marshall’s are depressing.

My ex would wash his cheeks, but never his asshole. He would just let the water and bit of soap that was on his cheeks clean his asshole. It was so gross bc he’d get out of the shower and smell like moist dirty ass 🤢

A timeline and why I truly believe the no contact method is the best way to get over an ex (especially a toxic ex). This was also 3 years ago way before I knew about FDS. Backstory, we were together for 10+ years. One day I saw his bank statements of all the restaurants, sex massage parlors and hotels he was going to when he would tell me he was working late and going out of town with his brother. She was married as well as him (misery likes company) and her husband had actually hired a private …

Since I’ve been divorced (beginning of 2018), I’ve moved around a bit and have had to update my drivers license both times. The most recent DL pic and the DL pic I had taken right after the breakup are literally like night and day. When I first compared them, I loved that I looked much happier and healthier in my recent one. On the other hand, I was sad bc I allowed myself to become so unhealthy and miserable during that marriage. My skin had no color, my eyes had bags under them, I was easily 5…

This is one reason why I gave up casual sex way before I even discovered FDS. The mind blowing sex was so rare and I started feeling like I was on some weird sex quest to find the perfect partner. Most guys don’t care if you cum or not.

My ex would literally not wash his legs or feet when he showered bc he claimed that the soapy suds would trickle down from his upper body and wash the lower parts. I could never understand that. When we showered together, I’d sometimes wash his legs. Like wtf was wrong with me for putting up with that nasty shit? It literally takes 10 seconds to scrub your legs and feet.

Yeah, still in the early stages of vetting him. He’s the first guy I’ve gone on dates with since finding this group.

Yeah, we haven’t had the talk yet, but I’m beginning to realize why none of his past relationships worked out. This is just one of many red flags I’ve noticed. He’s a sweet guy, but holy crap he needs to develop more as an adult.

The guy I’m currently talking to is almost 40 and doesn’t know how to cook. The last time he tried learning a new dish, he said he almost burned his apartment down. He’s slowly learning, but it’s still a major turn off/red flag. I just can’t fathom any grown person cruising through life not knowing how to cook. Also, his taste palate is that of a 9 year old. Has never eaten anything outside of burgers, Chinese, pizza and mexican food... usual kid food. Like, wtf.

This exact thing happened to me recently. The guy is nice, treats me well, we have tons in common, but I’m just not the least bit attracted to him. I slept with him and the next day I felt so grossed out. I thought maybe there would be a spark after sex, but still nothing. If anything else, I feel like he’s more unattractive now that I’ve seen him naked.

My ex husband had horrible anger issues. When we fought, 100% of the time he would break something or punch a hole into something. I still resent him for smashing 3 of my guitars, 2 of which were guitars my deceased mother bought me when I was a teen. I look for possible anger issues in my dates bc of this.

I loooooved this episode. I agreed with every single point that y’all mentioned. The me 3 years ago did so many things wrong when it came to online dating. I cringe just thinking of all the times I allowed LVM to disappoint me.

This happened to me not long ago. It’s been almost 3 years since I left him. I thought I saw my ex husband in a parked car of a parking lot that I pulled into. I definitely had a strong F or F response, but hated that I even felt anything at all. It meant I wasn’t over him as much as I thought. Time definitely heals. You just gotta keep pushing forward.

After finding FDS, I am a lot more picky. Especially when it comes to OLD. The old me would get so excited when I matched with someone. I’d go out with literally any guy that called me pretty. Now, I rarely swipe right. I vet a lot more before meeting and I’m hesitant to truly connect guys bc I know there are narcissists out there that will say and do whatever they can to sleep with you. I guess I’m just more aware and woke. I love myself and my peace far too much to jump into any relationship a…

It really depends on the person. I think all of the factors have to align just right for a woman to cum quickly. For instance, I need the guy to be the right size (on the larger side) or else it will take me forever to cum bc I need deep penetration in order to cum. I think what you’re describing is normal, especially if it’s the result of a hookup. You gotta find someone willing to put in the time and work to learn your body and figure out how to make you cum. A hookup will never be willing to …

Yep, it’s a huge red flag when a guy mentions his ex was crazy. To talk badly about someone who can’t defend themselves or give their side of the story is in poor taste.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
