They (the original comment) didn't say that the man/woman dynamic is identical to a parent/child dynamic in every respect; they were using the example to illustrate the point that in many circumstances, women are in fact reduced to the effective equivalent of a child because of the ultimate power men assume over women in society (which is inherently unfair, and is perpetuated by things like "Men's Rights" forums.)

I'm getting the sense that you guys just intentionally misunderstand what feminists are trying to say. Obviously whoever said this doesn't "literally believe that females are children." If you paid attention for one fucking second you understand what is being said.
