Although I am suggesting stopping using porn may help with overcoming P.E and through the wider debate ED (which may or may not be true as there's evidence for and against), I'd rather people did their own research on the topic as Porn addiction is clearly a problem facing a lot of men and cutting down or absconding from watching pornography is likely to produce great results in other areas of life for men who are addicted. After a quick re-reading my post what I have suggested regarding masturb…

I completely agree with everything said there. The NoFap community introduced me to the idea of how my PE was formed and the theory behind ED as well, but these communities then make blanket statements and judgement about porn which throw logic out of the window.

The stories here are based over a 3 year period but at the start of my journey I had absolutely no information on this subject so it's taken me a long time to learn about the issues and develop theories that reflected back on my experiences. Had i have had all the information from day 1, I think with proper application I could've resolved this issue in a matter of months. When I say that I have beaten P.E. what i'm really saying it I've developed techniques that allow me nullify the problem, and…

Although I have read into kegels and reverse kegels to help with orgasm control it's never something that I actively participated in. The main reason for this is that when I used visualization to circumvent my problem, the idea that practicing kegels could have any real benefit to myself was thrown out the window. I know people preach that they have improved sexual performance through exercising these muscles, the questions that I'd like to ask them is how do they know that there increased durat…

I think the important thing for anyone who is actively involved in these communities is to take in information that provides benefit to your life and discard the rest. NoPorn and NoFap introduced me to the idea that my P.E. had been caused by my masturbation habits, and that I also had an unhealthy relationship with pornography, however it could've been very easy for me to get caught up in what that community preaches and the whole ridiculous notion of 'super-powers'. It just goes to show how da…

PE being caused from porn masturbation only seems to happen in rarer cases and from other peoples testimonials a defining factor was that the anxiety of getting caught meant there was a benefit to getting off quicker. If I had a computer in my room with a lock on the door I think I'd fall into the ED category. Im just glad im not one of the poor fellas walking around with PE and ED combined haha

Its a hard call to make really, it's testosterone that's giving you these 'super-powers' as abstaining from masturbation naturally increases testosterone. If you start masturbating again your T levels will decrease. You can boost your T levels in other ways, lifting heavy weights especially on the day you do the deed is going to ramp them up and that could negate any losses from resuming masturbation. It's just if's and buts really. If you resume masturbating could you be disciplined to do it po…

Hard to say really, there's a lot of different factors involved, but i think you're placing yourself at a disadvantage. I think it's safe to say that you're dopamine tolerance has likely been rebooted as nofappers like to put it. I hear a lot of stories from NoFap about people developing P.E. all the time which leads me to believe you will experience it when you do lose your v, but it depends on your masturbation habits and your anxiety entering the encounter. I dont believe there is any issue w…

Something I didn't mention, and it sounds like you suffered from the polar opposite to PIPE which is Porn Induced Erectile Dysfunction and usually occurs from excessive edging to high speed internet porn. It has a lot to do with the Coolidge effect (dopamine rushes based on novelty). Over long periods of use the thresh-hold for what turns you on increases due to Dopamine tolerance which leads people to seek out fetishes. This obviously doesn't reflect how actual sexual encounters work and is why…

although i definitely agree with porn free i think the idea of Nofap over long periods of time doesn't really make sense. Though I don't deny that people have experienced benefits from NoFap,I just believe that the increase in testosterone which leads to the benefits could easily be attained from lifting, eating the right diet and getting the right amount of sleep whilst remaining porn free

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
