I agree that the people who protected these criminals are also to blame. I also agree that there will be people who weren't directly involved who would have heard/heard about something. The Muslim community in Britain is not as tight knit as you may think. Often in Muslim areas there will be 5+ mosques within a one mile radius. When the majority of them had no idea what was going on, just like the rest of the general public.
