I was in a unit that was about 40% female. The workloads were never balanced. I mean, in regards to our main job it was balanced, but if physical labour (from working parties) or deployments ever came into the mix it became almost entirely a male responsibility. I have some really close friends who are fairly attractive but haven't dated or even kissed a girl, and we're now in our mid-twenties. I wouldn't even consider THEM forever alone because they simply haven't taken any initiative, (granted I'd expect them to be largely unsuccessful but it would work out for them in the long run).
