Why do you think an erect uncircumcised penis looks relatively similar to a circumcised one? Also, when I talk about the seriousness of removing the clitoris, its because that's a nerve cluster. Yes, there are nerves internally, but they don't work without the nerve clusters of the external clitoris. It's the equivalent of, say, your entire penis going numb. We take care of babies aesthetically when they have skin tags, extra fingers/toes, and even ears that stick out too much (although that's usually done at the age of 5, but still not old enough for consent).
