Find a good lawyer, every piece of shit down there, fucked me either through their laziness or stupidity. Do your research, just because they've been a lawyer for 25 years doesn't mean they have been doing it right for 25 years. Voice of experience, been fucked about three times...lost a house on the last one. Be careful lawyers in LA, they all know each other and they collude a lot. They'll make deals with each other and the judge.

Unfortunately, if you haven't seen mental illness in action, almost anybody else won't recognize it. My boss had black belts in a lot of things but hopkido was the one he used the most. Patients deemed not responsible for themselves can be pretty violent and if they are under your protection must be handled with care and not harmed.
