Like I said, finasteride is fda approved. Their are thousands of independent studies with side effects in the 2-5% range. It's one of the most commonly prescribed medications in the US (I believe roughly 8 million new prescriptions each year for the 1mg dose (not the 5mg dose to treat prostate enlargement) About 26% of men under 40 suffer from ED.
