Wakeboarding is a little different since it's in water, but I usually suggest showering at my place

That's what I'm worried about. Without the daily influence of my parents, I'm hoping I can flourish

Truly friends, she gives red pill advice among the lines of manning the fuck up, and lifting. I've made it clear that I don't want her to tell me about her Chad's, and she's been respectful of that. With that being said, I can't deny that feelings for her pop up occasionally, and this is one of the reasons why I'm going for a fresh start in a new city

Oh, by place I thought you were referring to a brothel or hooker, which is what I'm considering

At an internship, she's a few years older than me. Was very interested in me back then, but I was to scared/oblivious to do anything

I'm very tempted to give it a shot, I feel like it would reduce a lot of the pressure or stress

I'm a Canadian and I've had better success in West Europe than here. I hear people overseas don't like Americans too much. Maybe sew a Canadian flag onto your bag lol

If you're an American visiting Europe, Europe is easier. If you're a European visiting America, America is easier. Travelling gives you instant status

Not at all. I had Cipralex for about a month but it wasn't helping, then the doctor switched me to Effexor and things have been grand since

No shame in getting outside help. Talk to your doctor. I've been taking medication for my anxiety and it helped me tremendously. Once you have it somewhat under control, start working on yourself. When you look in the mirror before you leave the house you want to think and believe "damn I look good". It might seem impossible now, but I was in the same boat as you and things recently started looking up

I didn't click the little down arrows. I woke up today and I'm feeling pretty fucking motivated. Time to get shit done

lol, I've got my racing goals set for the season, but I'll give weights a shot with the same determination in the fall

thanks for taking the time to reply. All good points, looks like it all comes down to improving myself until I'm happy with who I am

computer/internet problem during school, but I totally dropped that habit as soon as I got home for the summer. Video game use has gone up to nearly 10 hours a week the past 2 weeks, and I'm not happy with myself over this

school was rough, I'd stare at the ceiling after waking up a lot, then kill time procrastinating on the computer. As soon as I got back home for the summer, I made a plan, and I was working towards my goals everyday, but somehow the more I focused on improving myself, the less energy and focus I had left for work

Good info man, I appreciate your time. 1- I've already got a diploma from college in Mechanical Engineering Technology, was trying to turn it into a degree. 2- I'm gonna start looking for work first thing tomorrow. As far as exercise, I'm a competitive cyclist, putting in over 10 hours a week of training and racing frequently. I found that the issues at work started when I kicked up the intensity, I'm thinking it might have been overtraining. 3- That's what I was thinking, and I know a pill won'…

Cut out the video games and spend that time improving yourself. Work any job you can find so you can afford to get qualifications or a degree if that's what you're interested in

I guess there's 2 ways of looking at it, my view point being more pessimistic. If what I do doesn't matter, what's the point

Both of these strategies tend to depress me, and make me question what's the point of even trying. The universe doesn't care what I do

Ask when they get off. If it's any time soon, make it an insta-date. If they're still working for a while then ask for the number

I've dealt with this for most of my life until a few years ago. I wish I knew exactly what changed, but I abandoned my old "friends", and just started talking to people at school. Now they knock on my door, trying to drag me out, and I have to tell them to leave me alone because I have other plans

This was my way of dropping it, I wasn't expecting anything, but I know there are people crazy enough to write essays on reddit, so I let them have their fun. And have you been on Tinder before? You're constantly talking to multiple girls at once, and I do have other dates lined up

OP of that post here. I was waiting for this to be discussed here. I knew there was gonna be no chance in hell of meeting this girl if I sent the essay, but I did it for the karma

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
