Depends on your reasoning. If you're only not letting her go outside because she's a female then yes it is misogynistic. It's not if she is in greater danger and that highly depends on where you live. Saying not letting your daughter out late compared to your son is misogynistic is silly.

Society does affect us but so does our physiology. It's not possible to determine whether our actions overall are affected more by our nature or nurture. Perhaps our society does enable men to have more power, easier but perhaps the reason behind it is that men are more inclined to seek power regardless. Saying everything can be purely explained by social factors is saying our physiology has no effect on our behaviour and it's simply incorrect.

I don't see why the burden of identifying different views among feminists falls on us. When there is a so called "misogynist" post here that isn't downvoted into oblivion people take this as proof of everybody here is a misogynist. Yet when a misandrist post is made on a female heavy forum which gets upvoted to high heavens we should see through the radical feminists and realize they don't represent the "true" feminism. Why ? This is a double standard.

What they believe is their choice but their beliefs shouldn't legally bind another person in anyway. Either the father should be given right to abort his child or he should be able to forfeit any legal obligations, responsibilities and privileges by stating he doesn't want the baby. Also being pro-life doesn't mean she's stuck with that baby. There is always the option to give it up for adoption.

Well, yes. I wasn't trying to imply genetics alone determined the standards of beauty, although now that I look back at my post that is what I've said. I was trying to say genetics was a more important factor when it comes to defining beauty. I agree the older depictions of beauty are certainly different than what we consider to be beautiful today but I see that difference merely a wiggle around the standards set by genetics.
