However, The New York Athletic Club used to be men only but women sued and won saying they were being deprived of business opportunities because business was discussed there. At one point I think the athletic club band meetings to get around the ruling but that did not last long. In the end men only and women only spaces are not going to be legally allowed in the future. I'm not really sure this is a pussy pass as these type of light sentences happen across both male and female. According to this article, she was not under the influence or speeding. Maybe distracted but not sure. There were no lights, crosswalk zebra stripes etc and it was dark. Could have been a tragic accident. I'll dig around to find more details
