2	Suburban bars/areas as a whole? Suburban bars suffer from the issue of usually having the same patrons. Try to get to know some regulars (of either gender, this includes bar staff) and become a familiar face. The main downside is that word spreads fast in these environments, so tread a little lightly at first, but do tread. I'd suggest bringing a group of friends if you've met some already.
