Now I think he recommended weekday dates because of some valid reasons like less pressure, lower expectations and an easy out, though I still find strong words like "should always be on weekdays" hard to accept...

Yes, probably he recommended weekday dates because a weeknight involves less pressure and lower expectations than a weekend date, and it gives both me and a woman an easy out. Though the fact that he used the strong words like "should always be on weekdays" is a shame, I concede there are some advantages to weekday dates.

OK, I pondered why Robert had recommended we should schedule our first dates on weekdays. A weeknight date involves less pressure and lower expectations than a weekend date, and it gives both me and a woman an easy out. Though the fact that he used the strong words like "should always be on weekdays" is a shame, I concede there are some advantages to weekday dates.

Yes, I still can't believe the author of the popular book on this subreddit (No More Mr. Nice Guy) gave this advice.

While Robert’s claim that first dates should always be on weekdays is hard to accept, I agree that people who work weekends and are only free on weekdays can only schedule weekday dates.

Honestly, I can’t believe the author of one of the most recommended books (No More Mr. Nice Guy) on this subreddit gave this advice...

Thanks for the comment. Yes, I agree that, ultimately, the day of the week doesn’t matter much.

Thanks for the great answer. Your comment about drawing women into dates tailored to my lifestyle is insightful.

Haha, that's a fair point. :D

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I agree that weekday dates probably have their advantages. But in his book Robert argues that the first date should always be on a weekday, and I found that hard to accept. If she says she can only meet on the weekend, I have no reason to turn her down.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, when people say “date,” I think most of us picture a weekend evening. I also figured women would be more likely to accept a date on a weekend evening, once they’re off work. So I was puzzled when Robert Glover said the exact opposite. By the way, I don’t understand why I’m seeing the word “false” on my post. I swear I reported what Robert’s book says exactly, without any distortion.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
