So I did some thinking about situations like this. I have asked friends their opinions on male teacher/female student relations and vice versa. Almost all have said its rape if its a male teacher/female student, but never in the case of vice versa. This bothers me alot, and I think theres a reason: Boys and men are so starved or attention and affection that any form of attention or affection, even from someone in a position of responsibility or power over them is seen as positive.

A gym I used to be a member of had a 6-8pm womens only swimming session twice a week, along with a few block bookings for schools around that time the rest of the week. This was the absolute most convenient time for me as it was after work. I emailed asking why I (a paid up member) was excluded from certain sessions due to my sex, and I was told that certain characteristics were more important than others. I was just involved in a debate on 9gag of all places about the idea of paper abortions. It was eye opening to see other men argue against their own rights - they wouldn't even see that there was an inequality to be addressed, despite everyone agreeing its a womans choice etc, there was never any conceeding that a woman can make this choice unilaterally - and if they decide to become a mother they can legally force a man into fatherhood against his will.

I actually agree with you, you're asking the right questions. The answer is that if I were to say "Pakistani and Bangladeshi" then some Reddit mod would immediately assume islamophobia or some other -ism, whereas using "Asian" in the "BAME" context is slightly safer. So to provide a contrasting viewpoint: I went on a stag party about a month ago to Benidorm (yes I know, basic af). It was fun. I wish that was the case :( Here in the UK 100% of rapists are men, because it is legally impossible for a woman to commit rape. A woman can only be charged with sexual assault, but because that term covers such a wide range of crimes it evokes less outrage.
