I thought you weren't supposed to compliment girls too much. Wouldn't it be better if you said something like: "Yep you were actually girl #1481 but if you play your cards right you'll get on my top 100 list of favorite strangers".

Pedantic guy checking in: wouldn't it be a grammer mistake since discomfortable isn't a word?

I don't like calling because I'd much rather have the conversation in person. You get much more with body language and voice than voice alone but a lot of people can't necessarily meetup just to chat and with a phone there feels like this awkward necessity of not leaving the air empty. Texting is much more casual and easier for people with different schedules.

Just wondering if you were a girl trying to speak for all girls or a guy.

Either/or. With longer conversations I usually end up writing them as I suppose people used to write letters, you write for a bit about one subject then start a new paragraph and bring up something else. It works quite well with my friends that have different schedules than mine as we just respond when we can. Are you a dude?

I don't understand where all these girls get the idea that they can't initiate with guys. Well, I do, but I would have hoped that we were past the crippling gender stereotype phase.

What about if his main objective wasn't hooking up? (for those of us in the audience who might be interested)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
