First time I saw it (4 months ago) I actually read the article, I had to argue with people that there was no fucking way she was going to get anywhere near 32 years in prison. first time offender, woman, taking a plea deal at most she was going to see a few months in prison. I live in Thailand, same thing with parking spaces in certain areas here. Only women are allowed to park close to buildings so they don't have to walk far to get inside, this is because it reduces rapes and sexual assaults. I am not opposed to this at all.

If you read the whole article he's changing the alimony law to make it so that after 10 years of marriage there will be a 20% alimony for 5 years until they get back on their feet, that is plenty of time and no one should argue that it will take longer than 5 years to build a new career for yourself. A lot of men don't collect alimony also, only 3% of people on alimony right now are men. That is not a lot.
