two years. I’m 26. both men (from what I could tell of the chef) are 45+ so probably a different arena than what you’re playing in… I’ve never been approached by any of my peers like that when I am out with him, but his peers try all of the time. I guess they see us and think, “If he can, I can.”

Happened to me yesterday. My guy left to take a piss, the chef of the restaurant immediately swoops in, asks me about the food, kisses my hand, asks me my name, etc. i tend to giggle profusely because I can’t imagine another man taking my attention away from what I already have tbh. he came back all smiles because he just knows…. Don’t consider myself 8+, but I generally avoid eye contact because I subconsciously believe I’m bothering people when I go out. I have unconventional looks (petite, skinny, black, shaved head) compared to most in the southern US, so when I go out dressed nicely, I feel people stare and it is off-putting. The staring makes me feel unwelcome or out of place, so I just avoid looking at others.
