This is infotainment. Don't expect anything to happen as a result--it's not designed to educate you or start any kind of movement. They want viewers and they want people talking (about the same fucking thing since the 1960s, but that's another story...) There are more important things to worry about, like starving children and veterans in our country while CEOs make up to 600x more than their workers.

You don't have to be any particular race or gender to be a horrible prejudiced person.

I used to hate Joe Rogan. He came off as a jabroni tough guy early in his career (Man Show, Fear Factor, UFC) but it's clear he's a renaissance man. Regardless, he doesn't have a pleasing voice for commentary so I still can't listen to him get amped up when someone gets an armbar. He is definitely a man's man in that he's got his priorities straight and he's not a dick to people.

With that logic, you're going to die eventually so life isn't worth living, so you might as well kill yourself. Sounds ridiculous, right? Well, so do you. Take some time off, work on yourself. Nobody's perfect, man.

This is a refreshing post free from groupthink.

I understand your sentiment, but for a time there was a bunch of seduction robots who never deviated from their "material" like a stand up comic who doesn't adjust his set for hecklers. They replaced lack of personality with this disjointed AMOG type routine. Sometimes it works, but mostly it just reeks of insecure guy going through a quarter-life crisis with a fedora and week-old tattoos. Seduction and attraction are concepts meant to be permeable and mutable. I don't interpret a lot of what is…

I used this advice recently and I think I made my friend's day. Women really pay attention to every word you use, the context, and the inflections. They really do glean more information out of communication than men do, it's so obvious. That's why men can sometimes be paranoid about what they say.

TL;DR. (No really. That was a novella.) Be playful. (Also be fucking concise--gives her time to talk. Women don't like listening to you all night. Just play and challenge her and she will tell you who she is. The more a woman talks the more she will fall for you.)

What she's saying is pretty common sense, but there isn't any revelation that would help implement it. I much prefer The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron for her message in being able to separate the right brain (the impulse, creativity) and the left brain (emergency brake, inner-critic). This bordered on nonsensical Sunday morning megachurch programming.

It doesn't matter. When it gets to that point it's all inner game. Relax, have fun, and be a man instead of a manipulative magician. The game is over and you won. Don't try too hard, stick around, and you will get laid (maybe that night). Why is everything here a magic trick or some series of "foolproof" techniques? Everyone's different.

This is "destination" thinking and not "journey" thinking. There is no end to improvement. It's always a battle for maintaining healthy attitudes, good time management, and using your resources. Just because you become confident doesn't mean you stop being that man. That's what I did for a while, and fell back into a depression, even after many successful relationships, flings, and meaningful interactions. You're only as good as your current project. Stay motivated.

I'm not sure what the point of this post was. Height doesn't matter, let me demonstrate by failing on account of height and height alone?

When you realize men and women think differently, you'll understand. It's especially powerful if said activities are something you mentioned earlier in the conversation; it adds congruity to what you do and who you are. Women want men who aren't fawning over them, they want men who have lives and consider them enough to make time for them. When men start to idolize women like they're the Princess Toadstool to their Mario, problems arise because they are in a mentality that they can't possibly su…

"Let me know when you're free" is not optimal. It implies that you are free all 7 days next week so it all depends on her to do the work to be free. The solution is "well I'm busy working on project xyz on Wednesday, Thursday I'm working late, Friday I'm golfing and then xyz at night--I'm free Saturday and I might be able to keep Monday free, but you have to let me know soon because I'm waiting for project abcd and maybe xyz again." Now that's fucking loaded, but always talk about when you're no…

Saying yes isn't automatically a guarantee they show up, you have a good time, and you have sex, let alone kiss. But this is a victory and celebrate it as such. I don't want to see a post from you next week complaining about constant rejection. Just plan ahead the next steps. It's cool that you're flying by the seat of your pants. Enjoy it.

If you're a standup guy, and don't resort to anything shady or obvious, this shouldn't be a problem. Women are human beings, not just some place to put your penis. So if you can't see it that way, then you need to restructure your approach. Besides, this isn't the 50s. Chances are the parents were wilder at her age than she is (which may be a reason they are overprotective). Just be a complete person first, and it doesn't matter what you do or so. Consistency.

Who is just getting started? I've been talking for 31 years. Just because we chose to compartmentalize it a certain way under the pretext "seduction" doesn't mean everything we've learned up to that point is lost. Nobody is a beginner.

I just say whatever the fuck I want and do whatever I want, and if she likes it, then she wins. If she doesn't, she loses. I am the prize.

Some of the advice on this subreddit is bizarre, and I am really worried about the ability of other men to empathize. Have fun, make people laugh, be interesting, have an active social life, and don't dress like a slob. That is really all there is to it. No need to complicate things.

What people don't realize (and I suspect many on this subreddit are among them) is that seduction is a phase. It's the beginning of a relationship and people's personalities generally adapt to each other over the course of a relationship. Actual alpha males don't really do relationships--see Genghis Khan, countless celebrities, etc. Women like the challenge of men displaying alpha traits because they want to get to the sweet center of the hard candy exterior. That's the metaphor I've always seen…

Some of this seems to be common sense and borderline obvious. "If you want to meet people, meet people." Just being a standup guy naturally attracts women and other men. Be a leader, be confident, and don't worry about consequences.

I just got back from a semester abroad in Europe, and let me tell you, it truly was the most magical, amazing experience of my entire life. The French countryside was like something out of a storybook, the Roman ruins were magnificent, and the men, well, European men are by far the most romantic in the world. You American men all think you're so suave and sophisticated. Well, think again! European men make you look like the immature, inexperienced little children you are. They really know how to…

Why do so many PUAs try to hide behind these masks like Mystery and Style... it's so much work and it only attracts women with low self esteem... Why not just be a stand-up guy who doesn't take shit from people and doesn't need parlor tricks? Then you will get someone with class, intelligence, and humor Signed, David DeAngelo disciple

Sorry, all of these answers are wrong. HERE IS HOW TO DO IT, WITH PLENTY OF TIME FOR HER TO SCREW UP HER CHANCES WITH YOU, THE PRIZE: Ask her if she has a cellphone she answers. She'll usually say duh, of course. Say, "take it out for a second?" Say, "just dial (XXX) XXX-XXXX (your number). I gotta get going, though, my friends are waiting for me. I'll talk to you later in the week." Always make daytime plans involving whatever you just talked about. Mention your nights are too busy, and bring u…

There is no such thing as text game. You use it to create the whole "absence makes the heart grow fonder" things. Once in a while you leave little gifts along the way between seeing each other, but it's not a viable way of creating attraction.
