While I agree with a lot of this sub and definitely keep boundaries in my marriage as I found this after marriage and kids, I do feel a lot of people on here also suck at choosing a girl. There is more to it than that but that’s how it works out. In reality it’s 5 days on, 4 days off, 4 days on, 5 days off, 5 days on, and 5 days off making it a 28 day rotation. The downside is you alternate between days and nights every shift group. So the first 5 are days, the second nights etc.

Most in the US are not fly in. I live 30 minutes from the mine by car. We have a spot we meet and a company van we drive to the van. My current schedule is 12 hour days. 4 days one week three the next per two week pay period.

I work in mining and it would be easy if not annoying to bosses to switch to 6 hour shifts. My boss is former logging industry and he agreed. Easily doable there too just annoying to bosses and added expense.

To be fair studies started showing those results in the 90s and companies haven’t tried it yet. In some regards free markets are really slow to move. They do move overnight in some regards which is good but usually not when it comes to labor policies.

Tell her the idea might work but instead of a permanent drain on the company budget if it doesn’t instead offer single time use bonuses for performance improvements. Things like lunch or similar usually work well. That way you play to her game without following her game.

I didn’t see that but that is California. Me personally, I think all prisoners should have a job. Different prisoners are sent to different prisons based on skills and jobs available at the prisons. Manufacturing and farming would probably be the easiest to manage in a closed environment. All car thieves and chop shop to a car plant for instance. I love to eat alone but I don’t even pull out my phone. I sit patiently, drink my drink, read the menu, and eat peacefully without people or electronic device. I personally prefer it that way. I also like to people watch.

But a good lawyer will tie it all up in red tape or require marital assets be put in trust for the kid where the wife can’t access, or better split custody, or prove unfit home for kid with mother because of a PI following her showing likelihood of evening abandonment during whoring out, etc. good lawyers are worth it. The difference between a $10,000 attorney and a $100,000 attorney is huge and if nothing else $90,000 less in the marital assets.

Not necessarily. I’d put up with a whole heap of shit to be able to see my son everyday. I love my mom and dad but frankly I didn’t know what love was until after my son was born. It’s a whole different level I didn’t know existed. And it helped me to determine where on that scale his mother really is. When I didn’t know she was near the top. Now that I know she’s a lot farther down. It helped me to fully understand mgtow.

What kind of things are the arguments about? I’m in a weird place with my wife. Normally she is the type to let me be me. She makes her own money and takes care of her and I’m left to do me. She is pregnant and consequently insane right now. I’m waiting until her hormones are normal again to make any decisions. I am squirreling things and plans away to be ready though. Better to be safe.
