I meant that the accused be protected from the media. The public. Not the people involved at the time. Maybe you could point out where this would conflict since I am not terrible familiar. I could seeing it undermineing the defendant's right to due process by publishing his identity. Publish when guilty not before.

Strange naked drink man wakes single woman - a man came into her bedroom, promptly disrobed, slid into the bed next to her and fell asleep. Then an article about how skeevy he is and how the woman deserves retribution in the form of a purse made out of his genitals.

What was the protected class stuff? We are supposed to be equal when one side falls under protection of some sort. Wouldn't fair an equal be like: "Alright everyone fends for themselves"?

How are you supposed to handle claims. I think it would be something like: Woman accuses a man. Then woman provides evidence to support her claims ( brusing, rape kit). Police ask man to come in for questioning and then if it looks like he is guilty arrest and charge him. Then keep identities (victim, accused) secret until he is convicted. They one that happened to people in my highschool was Drunk girl makesout and has sex with 3 highschool boys. In the morning her religious grama asks her wher…

I never thought it was weird to ask in the workplace. Like what the fuck else are we all doing here. Also it is nice to know what it steps up to in a union.

I think the identity should be a secret until after he is convicted not earlier. After that they can see if anything else comes forward. Publicity and the media should not be doing the investigation work for the cops.

Meh the only thing for me is that it gets annoying when people ask you. I have close male friends that I am emotionally close to. I share a lot with them. I am also a forever alone so my family thinks I am gay. I have since decided that I will just let them think that and see what they do.

I once had a teacher say "I hate bigots." I asked her why and she said "just for being the way they are." I laughed and got sent to the principals office. This same teacher was subbing for Bio and before the evolution chapter she stopped the class and said something along the lines of "I don't believe in this I think the lord and saviour was responsible, but it is on the list so I might as well let you read it"

She deserves to be punished for trying to pull this shit. I am glad they found out though. She should also pay damages. I am sure he suffered heavily through this false accusation. Also I wonder if there is a double jeopardy for rape. ;)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
