Ironically, I just found this video on my own about an hour ago. Thanks for sharing.

Happy Birthday man. I have been there myself so I feel your pain.

Yes, I am attracting women in their 30’s. Put yourself first and don’t worry about anyone else. The race is against yourself, not an ex wife.

Think of it this way… is your wife going to meet a quality man for a life long relationship or just a bunch of hard legs? Her looks WILL fade…no one escapes The Wall. Whereas you can work on yourself and meet a high quality younger woman who will appreciate the attributes of an older, mature, well rounded man. You may think she has glowed up but she has really just hoe’d up. Hit the gym for your MENTAL health as each workout will make your brain feel multiple times better plus you will have phys…

Man you are on a sub that points out that women are desperate because they don’t know where all the good men have gone, and you simp for them? Stay thirsty my dude.

If SHE were serious about marriage she wouldn’t have stayed with you 9 years while wasting her prime years 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have not read any of your other posts nor responses, but I will say this: it depends on how your marriage ended and also depends on the quality of your sex life during the marriage/before the marriage. That being said, it’s an emotional attachment you can break and overcome. And you need to do that to move on to other healthy relationships with other women.

I understand. Work on being the best version of yourself and that momentum will bring you through to the other side of this in a much better place. Both personally and as a father for your children. They will see and know the difference between their parents behaviors, actions etc.

Then you are doing the right thing my man. Maybe counseling, not to reconcile and save the marriage, but counseling to help you two get along as co-parents? Would she be open to reading those books as well?

Ok, I can kinda see your thought process on this now. BUT there are some other factors that you left out: How old are the children? Do you and your ex get along to the point where you two can have open and honest adult conversation with your emotions (both of you) not getting in the way?

You are projecting your expectations on others. In this case you are projecting your expectations upon a stranger. It’s your opinion that it’s the right thing to do. Millions of other people can and do have a different opinion. Don’t expect that and you won’t be let down. Read up on emotional intelligence. It’s pretty eye-opening.

I don’t get the downvotes and I don’t get that people can’t see your logic. Continuing the sub here on Reddit would be like feeding a narcissist what they want. If you just totally ignore them then you win. So yeah, smart move to move to forums.red. Like you said, you aren’t stopping anyone from staying here, you’re just letting them know that you won’t deal with Reddits petty crybaby shit.

This is exactly correct. I overlooked that mask falling as well. 10 years ago. Finally correcting that mistake!

This is not the woman to pursue. She was doing her job. If she is a professional then she was doing her job and being friendly but not flirting. You already have a physical attraction to her so you have a “hope” planted in your head. The instructor/student dynamic, in this situation, does not look like it will lead to the instructor being seduced by the student. Keep going to class. Learn how to swim. But take this woman off of your mental list as someone you would like to seduce. Edit: if you a…

So she is on Reddit too? She can see all of your posts and comments if I am not mistaken. If she sees this one she might lose interest. Just a thought.

Do not make “dating” a “goal”. Your social life will depend upon a lot of factors. a. How big is your school? b. How big is your town? c. Is your town big enough to have other schools or do you live in a very rural area? d. What are things to do in your town/city? e. Do you have a driver’s license? f. What are your personal interests at this point in your life? Read about self confidence, codependency, and stoicism. All 3 have a variety of books out about those topics but you will find lots of a…

I get that. But you (or me, or anyone else) still choose how we act as an individual. But those subs do have some good philosophies as you said. We, me, you, us just choose not to act as a misogynist.

I would send them. Don't read too much about people not checking in during hard times. It is probably just awkward for them and they were unsure if they approached one of you first that it could make the other of you uncomfortable. Do it, and do it because you truly wish them well. Do it with no expectations of them responding. In fact, it's a pretty good way to approach life in general. You give because you have an abundance of goodness in your heart, and not because you need someone's response…

I know a woman who gets her KIDS to take pics of her. DESPERATE for attention. She also has pics of herself on her farm doing random chores...like what? You ask you kid to follow you around and take pics of you and out of the 20 or 30 he takes you find the right one to post on Instagram? Like Mrs. Gump said "Run Forrest, RUN"

See, now that’s a good word. Shopping. That’s a good way I can phrase this. Selfies=shopping for attention. Thanks.
