If I were 16 and hooked up with her 300 times, I would have begged her to tell all my friends.

At least her kid will never know about this.

I love that there are rules about how he can't ask her about certain dudes yet she probably berated him about girls in his past.

No one is doubting you, just giving you advice. I also would drop the same kind of examples to show I have my shit together. When I read it in context afterwards (and reading yours now) it's unnecessarily and is a little too much. Posting is fucking art otherwise and some guys should print it and put it in front of their face to keep themselves in check.

No kidding and look at the looks on their faces. That’s some self-confidence that will help get them though some tough times. Those teachers are rock stars.

I think the point of this post is that people had real shit to worry about in the past. Now women get hurt and angry when you say "hi guys" to a mixed group.

A man cut from my same cloth. You don't have to be old to recognize the pussification of today's guys. Just.like how a shocking number of guys can't drive a stick shift. Man up, boys.

Having not watched Jordan in his heyday, was he really that good and would still shine today? I was a fan of Iverson. Loved his scrappy, always angry play.

I have a high profile job and have been getting that same 20 year folks reaching out. I think it must be the magic age Where women are realizing that they have done nothing with their lives to date and are looking down the road and realizing it’s not going to get easier. I get more than a little amused when I get these messages, I think about how much I had to bust my ass over the years to get where I am and how they are looking for a ticket to skip over the hard part. Screw that.

Jesus, there wasn’t a single keeper in the whole group. Is this what young women look and act like now?

Her looks are a depreciating asset. While he continues to earn and increase his net worth, her ability to earn extra income slips away as she ages. Eventually she starts reaching out to those neerdy kids son high school that she was too good for before but she Ned’s the solid second income and still feel like she is in control.

In tech we call those girls "49ers". They are a 9 at the office but would be a 4 anywhere else.

Women like that are insecure and can't be alone. They need someone giving them validation thsy they can step on at all times. When our brother here was pulling away after his epiphany, she started hedging her bets by lining up a beta so she could monkey-bfanch to the next one and not have to atone for her actions.

Came here to say the same thing. More than once a stand up guy has been taken down by having his name on the birth certificate only to find later it wasn't his kid but at that point you are legally obligated. Thank God someone gave you that DNA advice and you took it, most guys wouldn't. Shows how we need to look out for each other. Sorry you had to go through that ordeal. Glad you dodged that bullet. Wonder how many guys out there didn't and don't know it.

Fuck this new generation at work. I had a fresh grad hire come into my office wearing what was obviously brand new glasses. I say “new glasses? They are nice, you look studious.” A complement i made. Or so I thought. Few hours later I get a call from the HR department saying she complained that she felt “objectified.” Fuck these girls. I don’t want them near me.

Thaf was sad as fuck but at the same time humbling and awesome. What a stand-up unselfish guy that loved his son proper. I aspire to be as strong as him.

In their 30s they realize that their looks are a depreciating asset and they are never going to have Kardashian money and fuck, buying a house is expensive and work sucks and people aren't buying them drinks any longer. That's when they start looking for guys that have their shit together as a lifeboat.

There was a great article by some famous restaurant chefs that said they like (especially men) that come and eat alone. Since they are alone, it means they are there to enjoy the food. It's not about impressing a date or some social pressure, it's purely because they want to enjoy the chef's work. I thought that was super cool and insightful.

If ever on a downed plane in the mountains , they might be the first eaten. They look like the type that would be super loud and obnoxious talkers, which would drive me crazy while waiting for my 1am Kabob.

No kidding. We have such an ingrained sense of responsibility to our parents when they sometimes at the core aren't decent people. Don't go down with the ship. Don't accept behaviors you wouldn't accept from a stranger, you are jusf enabling them at this point. It won't get better.

The company is not your friend. All it takes is one change in upper management to negate years of loyalty you’ve given the company. Loyalty only flows up. Never forget this.

She probably was, someone doesn't ditch their kids unless this is a struggle that has been going on and suicides tend to not be sudden decisions, sometimes they build over months or even years. Try not to feel a responsibilty in this, it would hit me hard too, but take this as a wake up call to find the guts to make those sincere compliments even if she isn't so hot and even if you want zero in return. Think about how you would feel if some random girl walking by said you were cute with a smile …
