So true. The other issue is that women rapidly lose their sexual desire after a couple of years. This is then seen as the man's fault so he is nagged to hell with no chance of the situation improving. The tingles don't have to be from someone better, just someone new.

Once married, the woman has control of you. Control by rationing sex, and control by threat of divorce. It gets even worse if you have kids. Her attraction to you will drop rapidly with time, but this is seen as your fault. She needs constant improvements in attention, status and lifestyle. They may get divorced or not, but either way the man will be working for his wife for the rest of his life.

I wonder if there have been many men over thousands of years deciding to go their own way, deciding women just weren't worth it. Their genes died out, and we are descendants of the men who had such strong desire for women that they would put up with everything. The worse women get, the stronger most men want them in the long run.

Depends on the laws where you are, but here my plan is to help my wife get a job, then help her get her own affordable house, then get 50% custody. Assets are split and we both pay our own way, no child support as I have the kids half the time. I know the States wouldn't let a man have it that easy.

Right thing, yes. Man doing the opposite is a piece of shit, yes. Worse than the woman? I'd disagree.

My soon-to-be ex wife seemed my best shot at finding someone different. I was her first boyfriend at age 21. She's well educated, quiet, shy. I've treated her well for 10 years together. She seemed to think of others and take an interest in my happiness. We've got the family, house and life she always wanted. She's been gradually treating me worse and spending more time messaging other men since we got married. While I'm doing all I can for our family and kids, she is addicted to flirting with a…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
