I don't think it matters what her HB scale is. OP is proud about what he accomplished. She could be an HB1 for all I care, he did a good job, kept a cool head, and I'm proud of him. To hit home what I believe this sub is about, it's about self-improvement and gaining confidence in yourself and your abilities. An HB scale should be something posters can choose whether or not to include.

I'm the exact same. I'm not the most attractive dude, and definitely not the most buff either. I'm quite athletic, but very very slim, too slim for my liking. I'm 18 as well, and yes AskSeddit is the more relaxed one. I'm sorry if my post had come across as rude, but just like SwissPUA said, there might be better subreddits for some things. It all really depends on what your goals are. Some other subreddits might be more suitable for some things: /r/relationship_advice and /r/dating_advice I recently gave advice to someone a girl on AskSeddit that I think was decent advice. Kudos to you, very well said. You are right, me complaining won't help. Although SwissPUA did make a good point of possibly more suitable subreddits /r/relationship_advice and /r/dating_advice Me being nor an expert, nor a noob, I should do my part in improving the subreddit to help it shape what we all feel it should really be about. Thanks for shedding light to the fact that yes, reddit is based solely on the people. I tend to forget that sometimes haha.

I meant as in talking to girls during the lecture. My school's frosh wasn't very good for people living off campus, so I didn't meet any girls. The next best way to meet them would be during lectures, but I don't know how to come about that.
