I don't live in America. I work in a place that's basically 99% white because the population is 99% white. You differentiate based on education, experience, age, languages spoken, IF THE applicants are equal. What is illegal in that? Diversity isn't just measured in terms of gender. Diversity of thought is what I meant. This can be manifest from hiring people of different ethnicities, educations, religions etc. I stand by diverse teams being stronger, but I don't believe that having more women automatically is a benefit

To improve diversity at higher levels. We have a strong link between diverse work teams and business results. I don't disagree with the data or results but promotions should be merit based 90% at least and the rest can this diversity thing.

I work at a large company and if this ruling sets a precedent, it could face sooo many claims. We have so many talented men and women working here, but often we go down to the women who are rightfully on the bench to step up instead of men that are more qualified.
