He wants you to feel bad for going and to think about his actions to spoil your trip. It’s already working. Don’t let it go further.

Inner shadow work. I would chat gpt having it create prompts for inner work based on situations that were affecting me mentally. Reading the questions and writing everything out helped so much.

OP is literally 22 and this was her first relationship with an older man who was cheating and exposing her to STDs/HIV, etc. Getting cheated on would be an absolute mindfuck to anyone unless you’re the most disassociated stoic person. Also said in another comment he would force her to be “shared” with other men. She was being mature enough to wait a whole year and asking the internet whether this would be a good decision or not. It’s one thing to ask if something would be a good idea vs actually…

We unfortunately have to go through extremely rough things in order to elevate from problems. It’s going to be that experience and how you choose to move on that will bring you up or down as an individual. It’s going to take a while where you are going through mixed emotions but I just have good hopes that once you pull through, you’ll look back and forget he even existed ❤️

The first step to improving yourself is to avoid unnecessary drama. Especially if it had been a year since the breakup. It’s good you decided to wait for a while and then post to ask if it would be a good decision instead of just doing it. Just do whatever it takes to improve yourself. It can be little things as improving your fitness regime, beauty, reading self-help/motivation books. Staying off social media if it’s going to make you want to stalk him or his friends. He never deserved your kin…

You should avoid saying anything unless someone asks YOU about it. I know you really want to get revenge after him (by speaking the truth) but for your own sake they will make you out as the bad guy. You are still young. He was manipulating you into trying all these things you were not comfortable with. He knew exactly what he was doing, dating someone early 20s when he is nearly 30. This is what he wants. Don’t let him win.

If he doesn’t reply, don’t reach out. Move on.

If you have any questions feel free to ask me. I was in your position after college and now I’m engaged to a wonderful man who does a lot more than I expected. We did have some issues due to me always having to be the “masculine” one but I calmed down LOL.

I’m going to be really honest. The only thing getting in the way to what you want and deserve is your connection to your past. You have to let that fully go and not let it affect your dating life. Like you can think about the past but you can personally feel the detachment from that person. Learn about the art of detachment. Especially since you’re the one who has to apologize to the people that do you wrong. The following I recommend: 1. Release the need to over-control the outcome. 2. Stop try…

Just make sure you’re completely healed and taking the steps to maintain your figure / use any scar topical creams. Men wouldn’t know what those scars would represent unless you tell them

Curious, is your boyfriend receiving any benefits from his service? Do you personally believe he has the experience to advance in his career? Have you personally been tested by a fertility specialist????

I removed my previous comment because I didn’t realize what sub I was on. This post was recommended to me and I legit thought this was relationship advice. Best example I can share is about my 35 year old male friend m, that had his first kid at 34, and his gf 31. He’s had past girlfriends who created expectations and deadlines of marriages and children. Due to his rough upbringing, trauma, and building his education after serving in Iraq, he could never give an answer because he truly had no id…

Before I answer, I have a question: which state/city do you live in? I live in Southern California and I’m in the LA area. It is RARE to know someone our age that wants kids between 30-33 😂 And sometimes seeing our peers who’ve had kids before 30 constantly complain about parenthood would be great birth control.

I’m going to be as straightforward as I can, as I’ve seen these types of situations happen with people I know. If your boyfriend doesn’t have a timeline now, you’ll never get that answer until he is feeling very secure with his life and his job. He doesn’t have a job that can provide for a family and is unsure of his job security. You don’t have job AND you have student loans. Hopefully you are getting unemployment and/or severance. I’m in med tech, I understand the fear, frustration, and instab…

Is there a reason why 30 is the magic number? Having kids when y’all are jobless and not even a year in sounds like a huge mistake. Don’t do that to your future kids and to yourself. You are very lucky to have a logical partner who wants to make sure there is stability within a relationship/marriage and finances before bringing in a child into the world. Have you seen a therapist or a grief counselor?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
