YES, THIS. I was at a party where I knew almost everyone and hence didn't want to get too freaky w/ the grinding. I was just moving around, trying to get some of the more awkward dance circles to have fun by starting by dancing myself. I remember that every time I accidentally brushed the back of a girl when I was trying to move through the crowd, she would automatically start trying to dance w/ me. Have fun and give value! Best advice any of us can give.

... My biggest regret is that I only have one upvote to give. I've never thought about using competition as motivation unless there was an actual one. Now I've got someone to fight off, compete, and run into the ground. Can't thank you enough.

Not so sure how much I agree w/ this post. One of the most risky things I've known from experience is to take advice on women from women... But it seems like a cute post. I'm more interested in the fact that we're both in Berkeley, wonder if I know these people...

Hate to be a dick, but it's still a positive feedback loop. It's just that it's negative. That said, I agree to an extent. If you find something interesting about the other person to talk about, you'd be able to overcome the norm, e.g. "I hear that girls who wear [graphic] tees are really able to [insert w/e action you want appropriate to the situation]."

This is EXACTLY what I was trying to ask, just in a much shorter and better phrased manner.

Damn. That just made a shit ton of sense and just settled a lot of the issues I've been messing around w/ inside my head. One question though, would gradually shifting to a more sexual/seduction state of mind be considered a good change? Or are you just implying growth as in confidence wise?

I see, so the issue is really just back to the main issue of not giving a fuck? I suppose you're right, since otherwise, it would be something dangerously close to one-itis. I just think it's such a shame and a waste, despite abundance theory.

Hmmm, a lot of great points here. So far it seems that the general advice is to let it happen when it feels natural, and that despite the not giving a fuck part, there is some sentiment attached to losing it for the first time. Thanks a lot, Seddit, I was beginning to wonder if I was missing a huge piece of the game here. Will keep all your advice in mind.

Mmmm, I figured it would be something along that and I've been brushing off most of them. But it only occurs when I'm hanging out w/ more than one girl. By themselves, there's no shit testing at all, which is what's making me go wtf?

If you're worried about what strangers/friends/family/pets will think of you, my advice is to stop giving a fuck ASAP but my hamster won't stop making fun of me for weeks...

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
