Has anyone successfully gotten child support from a woman?Did they try to dodge it or reduce income, claim you make more to decrease it, etc? | /r/MensRights | 12/03/25 05:51 PM
Has anyone successfully gotten child support from a woman?Nice did she pay? | /r/MensRights | 12/03/25 02:24 PM
Has anyone successfully gotten child support from a woman? The welfare loophole is the dumbest shit ever. That and the “I’m a stay at home mom with a young child so can’t work”. | /r/MensRights | 12/03/25 04:44 AM
Has anyone successfully gotten child support from a woman? How can they go to jail, if many (not all, but def my ex) keep pooping out babies with new dudes. | /r/MensRights | 12/03/25 01:35 AM
Has anyone successfully gotten child support from a woman?Hah that’s how my custody case felt tbh. At one point the judge was even arguing why we should split up the siblings so that mom gets one and dad gets one, and I was like ?????. But yes as a man, only winning after 10s of thousands of dollars spent on lawyer fees. As a woman, all she did was stand in front of the judge and act sad and it took them 3 years to be like, oh yeah maybe this child failing and getting their schools switched 7x and getting expelled isn’t so great after all. | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/03/25 01:32 AM
Has anyone successfully gotten child support from a woman? My ex did the same but only for the medical costs (refusing to pay half). I just recorded everything she didn’t pay and threw it all in with my CS modification request. My lawyer seems pretty confident she will have to cough up 500 dollars but we will see, I doubt she will pay. Did you file all those contempt charges? | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/03/25 12:38 AM
Batshit VocationalMine is working 12 hrs a week 🥲. I feel your pain. Any time I ask her to pay her share of medical costs she tells me she can’t afford it because she works part time now. Meanwhile my SO (stepparent) is here paying half the extracurricular costs, medical, clothing, etc when she shouldn’t have to just to subsidize my ex taking care of a new kid. Crazy. Mine also is convinced I have a secret stash of cash haha. Exes amiright. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/03/25 12:39 AM
Batshit VocationalDamn nice! So the evaluator didn’t care she had a kid? | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/03/25 09:11 PM
Vocational review - is it worth it?Apparently that works for lowering child support 🥲 I spoke to several lawyers prior to retaining the one I have and they all told me no court is going to impute her income if she has a young child even if it’s from another man. They claimed as a man I could make the same argument to lower support but smells like bullshit. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/03/25 08:22 PM
Vocational review - is it worth it?Even with a half sister? She is taking pics of the two of them (6 years apart) constantly and am positive she is going to say he needs to move back with her so he can have a relationship with his half sister. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/03/25 07:56 PM
Vocational review - is it worth it?I would but she is going to try and get my younger son back in a couple years when my older graduates (no idea why she would do this to our younger as it would require him to switch schools and cities into a worse area) so now is the only time I can try to recollect some of the money she has not been supporting for the kids :( | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/03/25 07:51 PM
Batshit VocationalSorry what was the outcome of the eval? Like did the guy say she can’t work? My ex is claiming she can’t work due to a 3 year old, also not my kid, also lives with her baby daddy. My lawyer wants to do a vocational consult but I’m skeptical how helpful it will be if she’s claiming she can’t work due to someone else’s kid. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/03/25 07:22 PM
Tips on making sure the courts and my ex don’t keep screwing my kids up?Idk if someone is, they may be, but no one in her family is particularly well off | /r/MensRights | 31/01/25 11:22 PM
Tips on making sure the courts and my ex don’t keep screwing my kids up?I can’t either, finally get a final judgment and bam she files for a modification literally a month later asking to take the one weekend I get a month, all my monday holidays and my summer break weeks. | /r/MensRights | 31/01/25 01:18 PM
