You wish to withhold the right of property from men, if these paternity tests were compulsory, all the relationships where the trust is real and two sided wouldn't be affected at all besides a 15 second cheek swab at the hospital. and the ones based on lies and one sided trust would not be able to suck hundreds of thousands of dollars out of someones pocket unjustly. if it is optional, you get the pressure from your S/O not to do it because "you asshole you don't trust me?" hence the need for it…
