Did anyone else notice she was basically driving in the woods and there was only one house and no pedestrians? Lol

Technically, this option could be a combination of 1, 2 and 3… although not necessarily. (I do agree this is an option though)

I think you’re in the majority with that perspective. Wondering… if you take the burger flipping woman in your example, what other qualities can she have to make a standard like financially successful partner a fair one?

You know where to look 🤣 I’ve noticed a lot of location dependant answers, especially since COL makes the “6 figures” somewhat generic.

Thanks 😊 Always trying to analyse from a macro perspective lol

Just focusing on the “today” email she mentions… I think it’s telling that she DIDN’T get an email reading something more along the lines of: “That guy Chad you’ve been dating is (was) actually my boyfriend. (Now EX bf) You probably didn’t know about me but he’s a cheating… “ proceeds to show timeline for proof. “You probably didn’t know about me but I’ve had my suspicions about you for some time. I’m cutting all ties with him and I suggest you do the same.” HOWEVER, she instead gets an email th…

At the risk of sounding extremely blue pill… The main thing I don’t like is the mathematical and statistical approach that’s used to describe human interactions. To be fair, data driven approaches have their merit, even here, but what about the human side? Let’s say the HVM meets an attractive woman at McDonald’s or Starbucks and they just hit it off… they just connect, there’s that “spark”? If you’ve had it happen to you, you know exactly what I’m talking about lol Attraction, looks and status …

I think sometimes other factors outweigh that. Maybe they were sexually attracted to people that wouldn’t work in terms of raising children, building a life, etc. They found someone that they liked, even loved… checked all the boxes, but just didn’t have the sexual attraction. Pros/cons - they got the life minus that basically.

Is it? I would agree frequency, enthusiasm and passion are definitely different… but what about the activities themselves?

Of course, but then you might have a higher likelihood of a bait and switch situation? “She/he used to always ___, but then we got married and now we rarely if ever __”

This is exactly the perspective I was looking for lol So, if you get in a ltr or marriage and everything is as perfect as real world possible… but the physical attraction either dies down or was never that high of a level, can the emotional and mental comfort override the meh factor?

I would agree about the hard boundaries. There’s some things people just don’t do period. If we correlate passion and enthusiasm with frequency and duration that would honestly cover a lot of the bases. (Anniversary and birthday bj’s VS it being a regular part of fore play) But if you take something like, for lack of a better term, a soft boundary. A woman might know men in general and her partner in particular really enjoy something. She’s ok with doing it but it’s not something she loves. Luke…

More aroused and less inhibited, yes exactly that’s what (to me at least) makes the most sense. That’s probably the wording I should have used lol

Definitely agree with the frequency being higher… but what about different activities and boundaries? Someone mentioned hard boundaries, and that makes total sense. There are going to be things that are just off limits for some people no matter who they’re with. But for things people maybe don’t especially enjoy but aren’t total repulsed by either is the spirit of my question.

Sounds like the equivalent to “alpha”, the opposite being “simp” (to use red pill terminology)
