1	Make fitness fun, easy, and effortless I started lifting because it is so easy compared to the other things I do for exercise. In my part of the US, i get up at 5:00 in the morning for a 2 hour hike once a week. 2600 feet vertical in less than 4 miles round trip. 1	Killing the ego I was trying to figure out why shooting competitions helped me reshape my life so much because mostly it beat me down(I spent a year and change without winning anything) and showed me objectively why my years of casual shooting counted for nothing.
