My boss is contracted for 50 hours a week on salary. He will stay until 10PM if it means "long term benefit for the company." Yet for the past decade he submits overtime and none of it gets approved. After reading and digesting TRP theory, my story makes perfect sense. I grew up idolizing and learning from other men who were father figures. I was more attached to bosses, teachers, friends' fathers, due to the fact that they had a lot to offer and teach. My father didn't teach me shit. I greatly resent him. It's unfortunate I put two and two together so late in life, but rather now than never. On that note, learn from men who build, manage, and mold their lives. Trust me, you can't miss them.
