I’ve had to two exes who talked how much they want to marry me, have my children, how amazing I am, etc. Women say stuff in the moment based on how they’re feeling in that moment. It means next to nothing.

It’s def sadder to hold any stake in it and vote, I wouldn’t worry about it

This is actually a perfect analogy considering it’s a sellers market and below average homes are getting flooded with offers. That right house you’re talking about has a counter offer in their DMs everyday. In OP’s case if he’s interested in that house he needs to escalate and put his offer out there because another buyer will.

No - if you have time to be manufacturing drama for the sake of keeping someone interested, you need to hit the reset button

Yeah chief it has nothing to do with hitting on college girls and everything to do with posing as someone you’re not.

Lol okay you fraud, go cosplay as a grad student like a loser idgaf

You’re right, crazy you’re being downvoted. This is the second time I’ve seen on here about someone doing that and it’s creepy and weird. How the fuck are you in your 30’s and have time to make posing as a grad student at a local college a priority? Dude is one close step away from being put on a list. I’ve hooked up with grad students and I do it by being a functional adult not pretending to be someone else

Be interesting, have good pics and have good convos then ask when they’re free for drinks. There’s no trick to it and being “exceptional” at online dating gets boring pretty quickly. You’ll get burnout. And every average looking girl is “exceptional” at online dating so a majority of girls on there now are burnt out as well. Keep at it but the larger focus should be meeting people IRL

That’s just online dating in general, doesn’t sound like you’re doing anything wrong

What is going on in this sub with all the dominant/submissive posts lately? They’ve all been completely trash advice not even based on real life experiences. Just like weird power dynamic fan fiction people have been writing. This doesn’t work and you’ll get laughed out the building. You’re literally taking good advice that has been posted here and inserting your dominant/submissive logic into it. Like not being outcome dependent eliminates approach anxiety is great advice that has already been …

“In the videos I saw” Not only is this bad advice for people on this sub, there actually isn’t any advice or point being made in this entire post. You’re just saying women are into BDSM sex because you watched some videos. Yikes man. Both men and women like good passionate sex and BDSM is a fun way to get there, the end.

Well anyone trying to be dominant by starting conflict comes off insecure af and everyone will see through it, so my suggestion is don’t go that route.

I can’t say for sure but it sounds like something happened recently where you’re regretting how you handled a situation. If you recognize you are acting like a pushover that’s something you can change. Don’t beat yourself over how you acted in the past, just focus on being who you want to be in the future
/r/seduction02/04/21 07:55 PM

Yeah it does. You’re taking ownership of your life and investing in your future.

Dominance does not need to include conflict. You can show dominance by being assertive, knowing what you want, and achieving your goals. Seeking conflict is a weak trait.

Well said. Whenever I do go out alone I almost always get asked about why I’m alone and it comes off condescending and rude. The sad truth is in my experience you do get judged for going out by yourself and people will make it difficult for you because of that. If you can power through that, good on you. But very much agreed with you it’s strange how it works.

No, she would not be able to sue if he commented about the pic. At most she could go to HR. She could sue if he stepped over that line AND THEN fired her. But no, you can’t sue for making a fucking comment.

Holy shit this sub has fallen off. He said Bait? Because it’s not fucking bait, it’s just a profile picture, and OP is crazy to think she did it intentionally for him to comment about it.

Tell her to start looking for a job because you clearly don’t intend on being a professional

Ugh your right, I don’t want to leave but it’s holding me back at this point. One reason I stay is to remind myself of what I’ve learned, but in reality it’s a hinderance because I’m also reminding myself of a version of me that needs to be left in the past. The other reason is to help others when I can but as you said all the information is already here, if they’re not willing to do the work they’re not ready.

It’s not wrong but not great. Don’t dwell on it, nobody is at 100% all the time, just practice it and get’em next time

This seriously reads like some incel shit man. Society isn’t out to get “competitive testosterone driven men” Go after what you want is great advice for anyone but you really need to do some introspection because treating other men just as competition and women just as some prize to be won is going to lead you down a path of misery and loneliness

How about you read some of the top posts on this sub and do the work and not just ask a vague question hoping to fix your issues the easy way

This OP. Even if you got in a relationship tomorrow your neediness for validation from others is huge turn off and will drive them away. Then you’ll feel 100x worse than you do now. Find yourself first

Not trying to bring either of you down but having a gf at 15 and ending before you’re an adult is not a real relationship

Don’t pay for dating apps. The ship has sailed on people looking for dates, it is now only for validation. Use it as a supplement and focus on in person connections

I was completely off dating apps before corona but had a lot of good times with them on and off for 2-3 years before my last LTR. I hopped back on out of boredom with corona and it’s been for the most part a complete waste of time. I get a lot of matches but compared to when I used to have success with it, the conversations just go nowhere. Long story short, people are just on them for attention now. You should still use them, but don’t expect anything to come from it.

It’s only a downside if you let it eat at you. Speaking from someone in your exact situation with great career, only a handful of close friends, and not a tight family, I made the mistake of letting it get to me. Dating someone younger than you they’re still going to have a lot of their school friends around and I feel like girls in general just have their packs. Don’t let it bother you because she clearly likes you for you despite your own self perceived sense of lack. It’s all in your head, lo…

Just compliment her sneakers and get back to doing what you were doing, you’re there for you above all else. If she stops or you see her checking you out, go chat her up.

I just want to add on I’ve seen countless times guys going up to a girl in the gym for “advice” on what she’s working on it’s always cringey af. Don’t do that either because it’s transparent and lame.

That’s why I was surprised to see it listed here but it’s a beautiful type of depressing if that makes sense? It’s not very long you could finish it in a couple days

Both. They’re the only 2 books I’d actually recommend for this stuff and after them you need to stop reading and start acting
