Control the things you can control, let everything else take a flying fuck.

Absolutely. I'm here mostly because learning this stuff improves my interactions with people in general. I've gotten so much out of the theory, like you wouldn't believe me. I've had cops let me go, teachers going around the system to make things easier for me, gotten away with not doing assignments and still getting credit for them, free goodies at places like mcdonald's or taco bell, VIP treatment at valet parking / parking spots (not paying, etc.). The list goes on.

There was this girl that hung out with our group from time to time. The last three times went like this: 1st. "You should be me a drink!" "I don't buy girls drinks" and changed my attention to something else. 2nd. "You owe me a drink!" "No I don't grin" 3rd. Didn't ask for a drink, k-closed her at the bar.

On the long run, it would turn into a game of her trying to catch me saying the same thing. how?

I get it. However, not writing like a teen and being the funny guy are not mutually exclusive. Just a thought.

I know, and didn't mean to offend. But I think at 17 you could (notice the use of could instead of should) start maturing a bit. You know, start paving the way towards young adulthood. Just advice.

Unrelated advice: Stop writing like a teenager.

It's a neat idea, but I agree with ddecator. Seddit already fulfills most of the "problems" your app is trying to solve, except for setting goals (to an extent).

Yeah, westside barbell... I don't think they ever published it.

If he's mugging me, he's probably showing me his gun/knife. This is where self-defense training comes in. Also, if I were a mugger (and I was unarmed, to be fair), I would stay away from the bigger and stronger guys.

kickboxing+karate, but just recently started. And it's not where I get my confidence from, but it helps in getting that alpha male attitude when you walk into a room.

Ah well, to each his own. I was too (two years of zero physical activity, and 2 years of minimal physical activity before that), until I dumped some money on a 6-month gym subscription which gave me an incentive to go regularly (relatively expensive for a gym, as it was not just a gym. It's at a 5-star hotel, so they have some sort country club thing going on. However, that allowed me to go swimming a few days a week, use the sauna et al, take kickboxing classes, and recently pick up some karate…

Also, read. I emphasize strength, not necessarily big muscles.

why are you asking if I'm stupid? Both my brain and my muscles are great. It's stupid to see people saying "I'd rather train my mind and not my body". You can do both, unless you're awfully lazy.

It's inner game, not game with women. I don't know why, after so much repetition, you guys don't seem to make the distinction.

I'm not going around throwing people across the bar. It's the feeling that is rewarding.

Again, I'm not calling it game. And I'm not associating it with getting girls. I never said that. I'm associating it with confidence, and them I'm associating confidence with girls. I didn't get fit to get girls. If you read, I got fit to be healthier overall, after around two years of zero intense physicall activity. Girls were a byproduct. And, it's even scientific: subconsciously women seek partners with good health because of something of good genes for their offspring.

I just explained to you that that's not the point. Read.

It doesn't have to involve weightlifting. You can pick up a sport like rock climbing that workouts pretty much your whole body (except maybe chest/triceps to a lesser extent) or something like that.

Why settle? And lifting/exercise in general is awesome, regardless of what your goals are. I didn't start with the goal of being more confident (I thought I was confident enough). I started with the goal of just being healthier overall, and it turned into something that has affected me positively in various different domains. And, it doesn't hurt when you're talking casually with a girl and she randomly reaches out to feel your bicep.

I'm not talking about getting girls. I'm talking about inner game and confidence, which in it's own is fantastic, and which ultimately helps in game with women.

I'm not talking about game with women. I'm not saying big muscles make me the boss. In fact, I don't even have that big muscles. What I'm saying is that it improves confidence and inner game greatly. It might be that one push someone might need to start approaching women more effectively. I referenced the boss thing because it's commonly said here and all over reddit (like a boss!). Well, like I said, the knowledge that I have the capacity to physically pick anyone up (thank you, deadlifts!) and…

I've been on different programs. I change every 6 weeks or so, when I start getting bored or something. I've been on Stronglifts, Westside for Skinny Bastards (and Westside for not so skinny bastards), T-nation's Total-Body Training, and just recently started Convict Conditioning.
