1	Ambition in dating? Because a part of me relies on external validation. My guess for the root of it is: I grew up poor, I never had shit compared to my friends, so as an adult it feels good to have something that other people want. I suppose I'm the type to end up with a trophy wife at 50? I think this is bad because 1) it sort of denigrates the other person, and 2) my desire for external validation seems irrelevant to dating, so if it must exist, it shouldn't reside in an area of my life connected to dating.	/r/askTRP	01/12/18 08:47 PM
