youre slut shaming women for how they dress, thats sexism too homes. how is having a beard not sexualizing ones self then by revealing the male secondary sex characteristics? being a sexual being for ones own enjoyment and empowerment is a valid skill to develop; recognizing what someone is or isnt comfortable wearing and learning to express themselves most authentically is an ESSENTIAL skill to develop, for both men and women. facial hair hasnt been sexualized like the breasts or butt have, des…

i said that this is a source which is making an effort to represent mens issues at a proportional magnitude as womens issues- and youre talking about all these sources that dont fit the definition of feminist- as im trying to explain to you. there are real feminist sources that ARE fighting for mens rights, THATS what ive been saying. thats relevant 😂

those arent secondary sex characteristics for women as they are men- the biological equivalent to the enlarged adams apple or facial hair are breasts: the secondary sex characteristic for women. telling men that they cannot have facial hair is like telling women they cannot have breasts. neither is a logical thing to do. 3/4 of your examples are enacted in most places

hair needs to be worn in a bun, skirts knee length, buttoned up shirts, no makeup, and girls with large breasts get sent home more often than girls with smaller breasts because of how theyre sexualized. those rules all exist in a lot of places lol

toxic masculinity is the term to describe the sexism perpetuated by male authoritative figures. misandry is the term to describe sexism that most often comes from females. you just automatically believe feminists are in the wrong when their are so many who are putting in the work that you will blatantly ignore - i told you about news outlets posting stories about simone biles’ statement, as well as stories about Lil Nas X’s struggles with bullying and abuse surrounding his sexuality; providing t…

toxic masculinity is the “man up” “dont be such a little girl” mentality- often perpetuated by fathers and other male authority figures. its not to say that masculinity is toxic as a whole, but the enforcement of in unto men is the toxic aspect. why is that so evil to say that men deserve to have freedom from masculinity if they so please ??

toxic masculinity is the enforcement of typically masculine traits onto men idk why youre so triggered by that term. its literally the term to describe the discrimination youre talking about 😂

and i just told you that all these schools say that thats not the reason that the dress codes exist- your speculation doesnt hold stronger than the text that students post to expose the sexism in their dress codes. this is a private school which requires its female students to wear skirts- that is also sexist to say that it breaks dress code to wear pants instead for them, but youre adamant about your belief that women cannot possibly be discriminated against if men are being discriminated again…

and i say real feminists because i see so many that are doing this work- encouraging queer men to express themselves and providing safe spaces for that expression. like @impact on instagram is an activism account which posts feminist values by providing a platform to get simone biles’ opening statement put out to a broad audience, AND by posting affirmations and actions that can be taken to ensure men can exist in an environment free of toxic masculinity and cookie cutter molds. when i say real …

its really awful that a boy was sent home over wearing nail polish, and thats sexist. but its also sexist to say women cant wear tank tops because theyre considered “revealing”- and most dress codes read that they exist as an effort to make the learning environment a distraction free, safe space. teachers dont get to tell girls that they need to dress modestly, and they dont get to tell boys to dress more masculine. idk why you think im fighting you on that im j saying that youre bashing womens …

girls with bigger chests are discriminated against in that way all the time. theyre not allowed to wear tops that smaller chested girls are welcomed to wear… theyre both sexism idk why you think they cant both exist ??

but like… those rules do exist for women and have for a long time in almost all places- it sucks to lose your right to self expression doesnt it?

real feminists encourage men to express themselves in any way which makes them happy and discourages the judgement of them for not falling under a “masculine” outline, and this is a part of dress code that can be “whined about” just like telling girls they have to cover their shoulders or knees “out of consideration of male classmates”

affirmative action is controversial but its been implemented to help promote equity in the workforce and close the gender wage gap. it used to be exclusively men could be promoted and so to try to undo that injustice they give women designated spaces to enter the same level of professional advancement
