EXACTLY. People want colleges to simultaneously investigate and punish men for sexual assault claims like law enforcement, while not being held to the same rules and procedures law enforcement are. It's quite plainly a violation of civil rights.

The way it ought to be framed is this: Consenting to sex is not consenting to become a parent. Women can opt out of parenthood through abortion. Men should be able to opt out financially. They would also (voluntarily) lose access to their child.

I guess the real issue for me is the hypocrisy of feminists who got engaged over Roe v. Wade being overturned, when they still have more reproductive autonomy than men. It boils down to the fact that a woman consenting to sex is not consent to have a child(depending on the state), however a man consenting to sex is always implicit consent to have a child. Got cornered by two of the female managers in the back room at work (library) after I asked why a female coworker (who was my girlfriend but they didn't know that) was allowed to do and say things that I got scolded for doing/saying They, in no uncertain terms, informed me that since I wasn't a protected class they could do whatever they wanted to me and I couldn't report it. And even if I did, no one would care.

Seriously, I experienced HUGE discrimination at my last job (library) because I was one of 2-3 men there depending on the month. I'm currently leaving my job at a library to go work in technology because of gender discrimination. It's insane the backwards thinking my female co-workers exhibit to both be the victim, and victimize me in the exact same way.
