I’m a medical student. A comment from a guy in my organic chemistry class, on hearing I got into med school: “Oh, I thought you were looking into nursing or PA?” “No, always MD.” “I could’ve sworn you were applying to nursing or PA.” I get a lot of questions assuming I’m a nurse or “interested in pediatrics” So, red flag if men assume any of that crap^ or ask me why I’m “going back to school so late”
