I must reaffirm the genuinely effective "nakedness and beer" path. Know when it becomes AWESOME SAUCE for your dude? When you're STOKED to be all hot and bothered and present in the moment AND you truly, absolutely want to HIT THAT!! (yes, I'm utilizing modern colloquialisms to get my point across, work with me here). When you WANT to do the sexy time with your man, it shows. It's hind-brain, hard-wired in all of us - desire elicits desire. Find that inner "hnnnng, dat man doh!!!" thing that you…

push yourself towards your goals but don't hate yourself if you can't do absolutely everything on your list. it's a long list. it is also a worthy list and shows you have put quite a bit of thought into becoming the best you, the you you desire to be. i always recommend the /r/konmari method (The life changing magic of decluttering or something - a book by marie kondo. it's a game changer for purging unnecessary / no longer needed things from your home and your life).

for whatever reason though, our society has developed an apoplectic reaction to looking within for the source of one's difficulties FIRST (goes back to that whole "people knew how to do stuff or figured out how to fix or work around it back then" versus today, where everything is someone else's fault and we're the victims.i dont get the perpetual victim thing, frankly. i have had MANY challenges. Sooooooo many. But i dunno...for me and it seems most everyone i know, there is this fundamental des…

love love looooove this post!!!!!!! you know, i think a certain generation pines for the generally seen as idyllic 1950s for a reason. is it because they all hate women and want them to be forever barefoot and pregnant? is it because you could find a nice boy, get married and have him be the breadwinner? nope. it's because that period following WWII was a truly amazing time. yes, i know, the reality wasn't perhaps quite as spiffy, but in general, both men AND women still knew how to do things. t…

what makes you think he'll be an awesome dad someday? little girls benefit from a strong, together, secure dad. little boys will, without fail, emulate their dads later in life. speaking as someone 20 years further along in the process and a parent, while not everyone has to become a CEO or anything even close, if you're sitting on yer arse at 25 and letting shit happen instead of making shit happen, well, no bueno.
