Here is a link to what would appear to be the article in question. https://toofab.com/2019/11/20/mom-killed-three-sons-so-they-wouldnt-grow-up-to-abuse-women/ I wish more people on Reddit would just start posting such links on their own, instead of thinking that a partial screenshot of the top of an article is enough. It isn't. When all that is posted is a Twitter-style "receipt," instead of one person doing a search for a story, all participants end up having to do so, wasting time on duplicate…

My work history is limited. I worked my way through school, never had the time to make personal connections, and between Chicago's high levels of cronyism and affirmative action hiring, have found no way out of the no experience - no work cycle. So far, just a lot of odd jobs, mostly math tutoring, as well as my assistantship in grad school, so my knowledge of this subject is sharply limited to my narrow little niche. But this didn't keep me from having the opportunity to be falsely accused of s…

When we're talking about computers, the hardware is the actual circuitry, the physical machinery on which the programs are run. For a programmer, that would be something that would be a given, a part of his working environment that he can't do anything to change. The software is the collection of programs that are running on the hardware, the part of his working environment that those in his profession are in control of. In this context, in which we're setting up a metaphor to describe human bei…

You're referring to Evolutionary Psychology? I'd classify that as pseudoscience, a collection of "just so" stories that collapse quickly, when one looks at any but one's own very narrowly defined culture. There are certainly societies in which women have not been prized very highly. Consider the practice of setting women on fire for having insufficiently large dowries, something that was seen in India in living memory. Were gynocentrism something coded into our DNA, there would be far fewer horr…

Do not dox people. This was noticed, of course ... https://np.reddit.com/r/AgainstHateSubreddits/comments/n90mi8/rmensrights_boasts_about_threats_to_dox_mods_who/ ... by people who chose the ignore the messages saying "don't dox people" which were present in the page capture linked to in the post that started the thread they were in. https://archive.is/WKB2e W.N., please do not hand ammunition to the bad actors trying to get this sub deleted.

Why was this set as an NSFW post?

u / ObviousObservationz, u / reddit_feminazi88 - I don't know anything about either of you, so I'm not going to say who's right and who's wrong. But since your community is under attack, how about putting your squabbling to one side for a second and focusing on the external threat? When that's dealt with, then return to whatever this was. Sound fair?

Do not go to that sub. Brigading is against Reddit's rules. You might notice that I used an np link. Those following it will be able to watch the drama and perhaps be amused by it, but won't be able to post anything at that location. I have no done anything to encourage any violation of Reddit's hypocritically written and selectively enforced rule against brigading. Aside from giving you the opportunity to munch some popcorn and enjoy the show, by giving you this heads up I'm notifying you of th…

You made no point but to personally insult the poster. Your failure (or refusal) to understand a point doesn't change the fact of its existence. In this particular case, the point is so simple that you'd have to be an absolute simpleton to not understand it, which is exactly the problem with participation in groups like this, as far as I'm concerned. In order to participate in it, I'd have to spend my time dealing with backbiting and character assassination from bottom feeders like you, in ord…

Oh, and obviously every other sub that is at all connected with the Manosphere. I had been resisting the idea that these groups were all cut from the same cloth, but I guess they are. Pity. There was a needed role for them to serve, but after the lunacy I've seen on them, I guess these issues are never really going to be addressed. At least, not any time soon.

None of this is a rebuttal to my position. In other word, you're sticking your fingers in your ears ... Your armchair psychology is very stupid ... and going "la la la la" ... and the idea that capitalism has to be honorable is absurd lmao ... before strawmanning my position. Not too impressive, and yet, its own way, useful. The fact that this sub is siding with you tells me all that I need to know about its membership. r/MensRights is clearly not worth my time. After I block you, I'll…

Like no kidding my dude Fun fact: I've never seen somebody use the words "my dude" without acting like a douchebag, immediately after doing so. Thinking that somebody should set up a bot that does a hunt and destroy on posts containing that and other hipster noises. the point of capitalism is to profit as much as possible No, the point of capitalism is to profit as much as possible through honorable means. The dehumanization of an entire segment of the population is not an honorable enterp…

Maybe somebody who was good at helping people work through their depression could start a competing group. I don't know who that would be, but there is always somebody out there.

AJIT PAI?! Are you fucking kidding me? Do you know who you're tagging? The big man that wanted to push out Net Neutrality? Were you not there for that? I was, and u/BleedinSkull is right. AjitPai will not do a thing. As for Mr. Trump, the best that can be said about him is that he was a somewhat less disturbing choice for president than an obvious late Alzheimer's case with a known sociopath as a running mate. That's not really saying much. No, the Great Orange is not going to do anything to h…

Probably because he mentioned wanting to kill himself, Has anybody had the thought that censoring a cry for help like that might make the person posting it likelier to actually kill himself? This seems to me to be a very counterproductive way of dealing with such a situation.

I still don’t get what the endgame out of all of this will be. Thinking that you might be giving Zuckerberg, et al. far too much credit when you assume that they have an endgame in mind. Thinking that maybe their thinking is more short term than that, focusing on questions like "will this boost my profits and get the cool kids to like me, today."

Oh ... oh no. Are you living with her, or do you drop by her place and try to overlook the smell?

Sure she will. When she cleans it. The question, in such a case, would be whether or not the boyfriend would be by before the next toilet scrubbing.

Note: I think they've see this, already. Arnold's comment just got a downvote, which I cancelled out, before he deleted it.

Just gave your comment its first (and probably, only) upvote. Get ready to be set on with all of the ferocity that a pack of feral simps is capable of. Time to go pop some popcorn, if you have any.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
