A good answer really depends on your relationship with the man. Is it with your husband? Kids? Coworkers? Friends? In general, just be respectful and kind as you would to any other human, be they man, woman, or child. But that is probably already obvious. Society will eventually need to swing in the direction of acknowledging, nurturing, and celebrating the differences between men and women. Both sexes will benefit. It's not only common sense, but science. This will have far reaching effects on …

What's the general strategy? Go visit these countries (Thailand, Philippines) and just live there for a month or two and socialize? Are there better ways to approach meeting people when you're traveling?

Thank you. Yes, it’s a little bleak out there. A solo life is looking more appealing by the day. Lol. But I’ll give this a good effort for a while so I don’t regret “never looking” later in life.

It also is an incentive to not get lazy and to keep striving to be a great partner. Some European countries make the marriage void after a certain number of years unless both people agree to renew the contract. Otherwise it’s automatic separation.

Unfortunately there were many reasons I wouldn’t do a second date that I didn’t list, as they are personal to my tastes and not relevant to my original post.

I can understand her thought process and not agree with it. But it's the WHAT SHE REVEALED section, the last 4 (except Drink) are all deception, low trust, manipulation, immoral, lying behavior. That's the crux of it.

Fortunately there are a lot of great people here. It isn't black and white. When a city is liberal, that's just the majority. And there are many reasons to live somewhere besides the dominant politics. Work being one of them.

There's no state in the USA where you can accidentally become common law married. This isn't what I've heard, but I'll dig into it. Thanks.

Good suggestion, thanks. So each person needs their own attorney. Probably should have her find her own attorney and make that suggestion over email so there is a paper record. So I didn't suggest a bad attorney to her.

There has to be a playbook or strategy that men have figured out by now so you can still have a life-partner and children while also protecting yourself. So far that appears to be. Consult an attorney for best strategies, like prenup, knowing state laws, etc. Don't get married legally, just have a ceremony Possibly have separate residences near each other

Thank you and sorry for your situation. If you did it all over again and still wanted kids, would you just not get married and have her keep a separate residence? Maybe marriage in ceremony only, no involvement with the state.

A friend recently told me about someone they knew who married a rich woman. She came from a lot of money and had a well paying job. She didn't need to ever work if she didn't want to. And she still came after him for all his money when they got divorced.

She's a wonderful singer. Some of her songs are shockingly beautiful. I try to ignore all other aspects of her. Just because you're talented at something doesn't mean you're a worthwhile human being. I suppose it's like people listening to Michael Jackson despite the supposed pedophilia. (which I haven't looked into much but heard conflicting ideas on both sides)
/r/MensRights24/07/23 07:51 PM

That may be the case, but it's like racism against whites. Far better received if a black person is raising the issue. Just the way humans are. They trust their in-group more. At a minimum the message has to come from a woman.

The information and activism needs to come from a prominent young female with high IQ and charisma, preferably with a podcast. Probably the only way.

A lot of reviews and posts talk about how the film does a good job showing both sides equally, but I had a real hard time seeing the balance. Before the divorce, they had a good life that was obviously salvageable. She was overshadowed by him - maybe - but instead of working on that part of herself (through communication or therapy or whatever) she instead decides to take her child to LA, serve papers, get a bad-ass lawyer (when she promised she wouldn't), proceed to completely blind side him an…

Lol, glad you liked it. Made me laugh too. The woman so "cutely" betrays her man over and over, somewhat comical representation of hypergamy by going for the longer gummy. So the twist is a lot of fun.

Men and women evolved with different reproductive strategies. Women are resource focused because bearing children incapacitates them for years and they are seeking survival for their children. This is the unconscious drive of all women. Anything is fair game in a relationship as long as both people get what they want. But both people need to be tempered by each other for a relationship to work. The trick is knowing what's good for you and allowing yourself to be tempered properly, and knowing wh…

Verbal communication? Only for simple things. But that's not the kind of communication I mean. If you're at the point where communication is a verbal negotiation for sex or affection, then you've really missed the mark and need to go back to first principles. First principles are all the non-verbal ways humans communicate with each other (behavior, posture, dress, attitude, biology, smell, taste, fitness, conditioned responses, confidence, direction) with the end result of liking, loving, and fu…

Her presence IS something to gain, but so is my presence. I’m fucking awesome to be with in a relationship and a total catch. Probably why no one has ever broken up with me before. Any woman who wants to keep me has to earn my attention and prove her value to me. On a daily basis, no less. But equally, I seek women who are worth pursuing as well and who demand greatness from me. And I have no problem bending to her will where the will of a man is meant to be bent. It’s mutual adoration and I don…

Men can be equally nasty in a relationship. There’s no doubt differences in the sexes lead to different behaviors and reproductive strategies. In my experience you just have to know what you’re dealing with and play to your strengths. I lurk here mostly but ultimately think it’s possible to find a rewarding relationship with a woman. Though I think this sub has valuable insights. For example, much of my experience dealing with women who withhold sex or emotional support is to communicate first t…

Actually, I just witnessed this in person a few days ago. A dude cut in line when I was trying to buy roast duck on Wednesday and this woman behind me totally bitched the shit out of him "Sir, there is a line here, you see us all waiting, you know there is a line" and he argued back at her but she didn't step down "YOU KNOW THIS IS A LINE, NOW GET TO THE BACK OF THE LINE AND WAIT LIKE EVERYONE ELSE SIR!" and the dude got all flustered so he just left and everyone carried on like nothing happened…

Just some stats, it's been released less than two weeks and almost earned back its production budget. Advertising tends to be about half that, so total before profit will be ~$200 million, which they will hit easily. It's certainly not a blockbuster, but it isn't a flop either. That said, I wish this garbage would fail so we can have better films. Yes please!

Great points. I wonder why they wouldn't evaluate the shirt though and not the gender. Like, if the shirt looks like a man's shirt and can be ironed, they just do it that way. Unless it's just a generalization to make quick judgments while dealing with many customers. Also, perhaps women's shirts tend to be different fabrics in general and have different care instructions. So instead of reading every label right there on the spot, they just make estimations based on prior experience.

My female friend's response: Nice graphic, but a good amount of spin can make anything look unbalanced: combat deaths... how many women killed the men? homicide victims how many men were victims of females? industrial deaths how many of those are male dominated industries? suicide victims men don't like to get professional help and are cultured not to talk winner of custody I can't argue this... but in general, child rearing does fall upon the woman more often than not
