Yep. I'm Aussie. I found it more common in Sydney, to hear "hectic cunt". "Mad cunt" can be heard across Australia

I'm partial to "mad cunt" or "hectic cunt". But i guess it depends on the circles you are in.

"excuse me" I'm not sure you should open with that, in fact, don't. "I want to talk to you for a second" Unless you are already attractive, for most guys, this isn't going to do anything in the way of building attraction or grabbing attention

Can't believe after 3 hours, no one has answered this question yet. I'd would like to know about this, a waitress or a barista serving you, seem to have an air of authority when we enter their environment (not "im better than you" way, but more like "I'm in control here" kinda way). How would we approach such girls, and what parts of our approach should be different. So what are the different methods to approach a girl sitting alone at the cafe, and method approach the girl working at the cafe.

Most girls don't really care what you drink (if we are talking about drinks to have on dates. Otherwise, if alone or with guys, I'd certainly have a neat whisky or something). I had a "cosmo" on a date, while she had some other "girly" cocktail (She said I was quirky. In a good way I believe). We sipped on each others drinks all night, and had a fun time whilst both getting tipsy. Your personality and the fun that is shared is what matters most about a date. If she is smiling and laughing, where…

I'm not really sure about the story with the 2 girls, with the "SHUT THE FUCK UP..." stuff. I agree that you shouldn't be too forgiving about it, but I really don't know if scolding the girl would win you points. The way I'd play it off, would to be frank and confronting by saying something like: "Look darling, I saw you do it. I was standing right there." At which you then switch from 'serious face' to 'slight-smile face' and say something along the lines of "Don't make me spank the truth out o…

Hey! didn't realise there's a sedditsydney, but I'll be sure to check it out. seddit is a whole new thing for me anyway, and even at my age, I need all the help I can get. It seems like you, find myself in a similar situation of splitting from a long relationship, lots of messy stuff happening in life (including looking for work), and just getting myself out of a rut I suddenly fell into. I'm not really getting the lingo around here as yet, and picking up everything from scratch. Any recommended…

Find a club with a good sized outdoor area, where you can either grab a seat, smoke a cigarette, or just get some air. Avoid clubs that are just a large room, that's closed off with one exit and entry point, crowded bar, no where to sit and music so loud the bartender has difficulty taking orders. It is very hard to run game at those places, I've found. Especially when communication is a condition of your technique. I remember smiling at a cute girl waiting at the bar to order, we saw each other…

Hey, Churches are awesome pick-up places as a young teen, if you had the right approach. I was always forced to go to mass on Sundays with my parents, so I made the most of it. I would purposely sit at the back, and scope out the place. If I noticed a potential leaving her seat to use the bathroom, or whatever, I would get up and go too. Then I would just 'bump' into her, and start a conversation. The great thing was, when I was really nervous and too scared to go the extra step for her number, …

I was reading your story, and was thinking "wow, he gets through the hardest part, but has trouble with the rest?" To me, breaking the ice is the hardest. It's that idea of what to say, when to say it, will it be appropriate/interesting/funny enough, etc. Its an unnerving part of meeting someone new that I feel anxious about the most. That is usually why I'm much much better when a friend introduces me to someone, as it feels more natural than me just walking up to someone sitting alone on a ben…

Impressive. And now I'm interested, I've heard about many westerners moving over to Japan, China, or any other part of Asia, and teach English to college students. My first question is, how do you start doing this? Do you learn their language first, then sign up on some website? What are the pre-requisites to acquire such work overseas? Any required qualifications? Do you just move somewhere, and hope there's a job vacancy? Basically I would like to know, what's the usual process to become an En…

From what OP has described, it seems that she was already in his pocket. He successfully engaged in conversation, and was even able to relocate to another location (the bar), which shows her trust. OP shouldn't have walked away so quickly, or at least have returned later. Giving her space, increases your appeal level, leaving her wanting more. This could also give her an opportunity to tell the hovering wannabe to back off. Then, OP could possibly return later, and invite her to continue convers…

Are we still beating this dead horse? Didn't we debate this exact subject not more than 3-4 weeks ago? I'm not going to bother even searching it myself, but I'll just say that people need to learn to use the "search reddit" function to find threads that have discussed this very subject exhaustively.

I'm kind of curious at how fucked up the world is lately, that we have so many headlines in the news about rape.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
