Home gym is great, but consider going to a proper gym or a community center gym or YMCA gym. Take the family to a class or pool at the community center and use the gym while there. Don't concentrate on making friends just interact with people. A simple Hi or good morning. Then if the conversation flows, "I am (name) nice to meet you". Just try to get some names and meet people. If it goes real well and you see them regularly then get contact info an plan lunch or an event or whatever. Its a numb…

I would think it's good to associate with people that are better than you are. Whats the alternative?

Self evaluate yes. But maybe tweak your thinking. In another reply you say I honestly think I'm socially retarded. Maybe change your thinking to "I am working on not being socially retarded." Just a though to avoid self-depricate.

The gym is best. A home gym is next best. Bodyweight fitness can be used in addition like cardio with high reps. You may have burned more calories doing bodyweight so you may notice more results if you burned fat and lowered your body fat percentage. Did you drop a few pounds since starting bodyweight? You may have gotten lighter and show more muscle definition??? just a guess, i have no source to back any of this up.

Let your girl reject him if he insists. If she doesn't then next her. Great advice.

Wrote this for another post, but it applies here too... Even if you have a bad, boring time alone and meet nobody, at least scout out places and things to do for next time when you go out with friends or dates. Try that store, restaurant, bar, or activity you have been wanting to and then next time you go you will feel more comfortable and confident.

You care about your money and want to save. Great start. Save as much as you can. Learn as much as you can. Just about everyone can save 10%, at least. Young people should save much more. I wrote this comment for another post but it applies here... when you get enough saved... Buy a few (diversify, in case one crashes) individual stocks that pay dividends. Get paid to wait. Index funds are great but get something that pays you dividends while you wait for it to go up. Sure it could go down. Sure…

Showing that you care is not against the fucking MRP rules. Great reminder.

Great advice. Go out and have fun. Don't analyze every position and move around the table or you may go crazy. Be a guy who enjoys the company of friends and have a good time.

It sounds like you are doing well already. If you make good money in 3 days why not work 2 or 3 more each week and make more money? I wish i would have saved more when i was 23. Having a savings will serve you well whatever you do in life. As for a job, engineering and computer science are in strong demand now. Computer science covers many subjects from math heavy analytics to artistic stuff like graphic and website design. But as for the savings, i wrote this comment for another post but it app…

Advice I have seen, and I have to agree with, is "suffer in silence". I am learning to practice this myself. Like other commenters have said, if you have real problems talk to someone but don't dump your problems on your wife/GF.

Whats your diet like? Be sure to eat healthy, colorful, lots of veggies and fruits. Maybe take a vitamin or two also? Get lots of sleep.

IT is a great field to "work from home". But you dropped out??? Pick a specific IT category you like. Website design? Database design? Programming? Another good "work from home" field is Graphic Artist. Graphic designers don't really have to code but can work from anywhere they have a computer. Do you write? can you publish something? start a blog, get traffic, monetize that traffic?

To meet women... Its a numbers game. Make more contacts, meet more people, increase your odds/chances. Cast a bigger net. About the acne, use it to practice outcome independence (search these subs for "outcome independence"), don't look to score just do your own thing. Sure acne can make the cold approach hard so just follow your own mission and meet people naturally along the way. School dropout... maybe schools not for you, but take a class, learn a skill on your own, learn a trade, take a sin…

True, stocks crash. So buy a few (diversify, in case one crashes) individual stocks that pay dividends. Get paid to wait. Index funds are great but get something that pays you while you wait for it to go up. Sure it could go down. Sure it could cut the dividend, no investment is guaranteed. But at least get paid to wait. The price might go up too. And some dividends are increased each year. Start young, retire early, r/financialindependence good luck

Yes you should move out to follow your own mission. And some advice here is good to not enable them and give them loans. But there is a balance that every family strives for. Help but not enable. Be nice, maybe buy them lunch sometimes but no big loans. Many people in this sub /r/financialindependence have the same issue where the parents never saved for retirement.

The consensus i have seen on this sub is to give your turnaround and improvement "one month for each year of marriage". Don't go Rambo. Look up the concept of Rambo in this sub. Look up the "anger phase" that happens when you first unplug.

Do not give in. Do not apologize. Agreed. Saying something like "i regret you feel that way" is better than apologizing.

This. Could OP jokingly say to her "maybe he just wants to be friends, drink wine and hang out late at night talking art" with an eye roll or chuckle? I have read enough of this sub to know mate guarding is a no no. I have seen advice like this... keep it light and tease her "when is the wedding".

Cutting down the weed should help cut down your appetite. That should help with dieting and weight loss. Check our r/leaves/ too. Also without the weed it will probably be easier to start hobbies and expand your social circle without feeling stoned or paranoid. As for her meds... Look up the 1000 foot rope concept on this sub.
