Why is it expected of women to carry the burden of birth? It’s a cultural phenomenon dating back to the origins of mankind. Clearly defined roles that come from a real place. Would mankind have survived with that attitude? Knock a girl up then tell her to keep up with hunting and gathering or you don’t get to live? No. We understand their unique position, we care for them, and we help extra with certain items, because they’re putting in extra effort for other areas. So at what point in the timel…

Well luckily there are enough men in this world who are not pieces of shit and are more than willing to help out. Because it’s the right thing to do. And it’s not difficult for anyone who isn’t a bum.

You don’t have to, see where that attitude takes you in life. I think you’re going to find that most people, and anyone with an oz of work ethic, sense of compassion or empathy, or just not a whiny bitch, are going to call you on being said bitch and not keep you around. Do whatever you want, but don’t be surprised when folks don’t agree and your career doesn’t advance. It really is a pathetic selfish attitude.

OP isn’t just voicing concerns, or merely questioning the situation, or even asking for open dialogue. He is clearly claiming that it is fucked and unfair for women to have maternity leave and for others in the community, men or women, to support and pick up slack. You ask then how do we go about solving our problems, and I say this isn’t a real problem. It’s our natural reality. If OP has a solution, or is seeking a solution, that’s OK. But that’s not what’s happening here. OP is merely bitchin…

Yah, that’s not going to happen, life isn’t fair. We were born differently and will carry different burdens. We can’t carry babies and women can’t fight fires or man the front line in battle. We’re never going to be equal, so our rights aren’t going to be 100% equal. If y’all want to be taken seriously, fight the good fight on the real issues, and stop bitching about maternity leave and circumcision. While you’re correct, it’s not about meeting my definitions....but society has those real defini…

This. This is the kind of shit I’m talking about. You might not have a wife (for obvious reasons), but you have a mother. You want to go tell your mom she needed to be back to work 3 days after having you? Otherwise she’s a leach to society. GTFO of here with this nonsense. You’re literally saying only rich people can procreate on this planet now. Only in America are men so fucking stripped of their masculinity that they’re complaining about procreation now. I’m not worried, there’s just a handf…

Well, perhaps I should reconsider my response. I’m all for Men’s Rights, but if you put it that way, I might not be for a particular Men’s Rights Movement. No, it shouldn’t be about only causes I approve of, but conversely, it’s not going to work if it’s all or none on a long laundry list of causes. Just like anything else, people are going to be for some things but not all. Everyone’s attitudes are shaped by their own personal experiences, not a regimented bulleted outline. My point is not that…

Absolutely. There’s a lot of double standards and unfair treatment out there. Child custody battles, unequal sentencing, workplace double standards, etc.. But men bitching about maternity leave, circumcision, and military service are absurd. It’s a fuzzy line for sure, but one thing that is clear, a ton of guys on here have far crossed that line of being a big fat pussy.

I made one comment. This sub is a daily circle jerk of low-T babies who can’t seem to make it through their day without bitching about how tough it is for them to navigate this world with a pair of balls. It’s pathetic.

Absurd. “Have it all” ? You clearly don’t know a damn thing about being a working mother. Clueless.

It’s like these guys don’t have wives. When my wife had our kids, I wanted her to have the 3 months off because it’s fucking exhausting. In general, men aren’t the ones up all night with the crying babies. I am glad her company picked up the slack, supported her, and welcomed her back. So when women at my work give birth, I have zero problems with picking up for them because I’m not an asshole and I support her being with her child. It’s literally essential for mankind. This sub has turned from …

Not angry at all, just amazed how you guys can act like such .... I’ll refrain. Im surprised there’s this handful of guys out there that are so nuts over this.

Quit comparing yourself to rape victims, get over yourself, you’re fine. Your dick works just fine.

Good luck with all that. Just know that you are in such a minority. So glad I have a beautiful dick and am not a whiny bitch.

Take it up with your parents, don’t force your opinion on other family’s rights. Sorry, not sorry, but the majority want it, you’re not going to change that.

I guess I didn’t realize the frenulum was removed in a circumcision. I thought it was just the foreskin.

Doesn’t work well as an adult either. I get your point of view, but you guys that take this shit so far is insane to watch. Calling it rape with a knife and shit.. it’s overboard.

100%? Are you serious? For every study you can find concluding that (though I doubt any will say conclusively 100% because thats fucking absurd), I can find 2 concluding the difference is insignificant, or more pleasurable. 100%....ha, clueless. To say that it will absolutely diminish ones sex life shows your understanding of the scientific method. https://www.livescience.com/27769-does-circumcision-reduce-sexual-pleasure.html https://www.medicaldaily.com/why-male-babies-should-be-circumcised-cd…

That other guy would be your parents... a fairly significant person in your life. Random dudes don’t get to point strangers out for circumcising.

How do you completely ignore that the vast majority of men prefer to be circumcised, they’re glad they had it done at birth instead having to do it after puberty, and they’re thankful their parents made that decision for them? The only argument I see on here for ignoring that reality is your claim that somehow ALL these circumcised men are ignorant and you are a special kind of woke because you Google shit. You couldn’t be further from reality.
/r/MensRights06/06/18 11:40 AM

I believe you because the majority of them sign up to do it at puberty. They choose to have it done, so why wouldn’t they be glad? Is not forced on them be being held down (in most cases). It’s their right to do so.

Good luck with this crowd, they are all-in on this one with emotion over logic. The far vast majority of men who have circumcised penis’ are glad they have it. Say that here and they’ll tell you it’s only because those men are ignorant of their own body and experiences.

Yah I’m one of the “I’m cut and I’m fine” guys you speak of. I was amazed to hear about guys calling for circumcision to be banned, voiced my opinion on this thread, and got lit up by a bunch of dudes thinking I’m some ignorant fool with no clue on human anatomy. If that’s your opinions, fine, but I was shocked that everyone couldn’t comprehend that there’s a majority of us cut guys who prefer it and most women in my culture prefer it. So I appreciate your approach on civility.... a lot of guys …

Are you sure that you weren’t just castrated as a child and that is why you’re upset? Because you sure are coming off as someone without balls. You clearly have made up your mind on this, so I’m done here. Just know that in our lifetime or our children’s, America will not change to your very weird position on this.

Believe it or not, not every man is a pussy....we speak our minds. What an absurd and arrogant assumption you’re making that all guys hate it but are too scared to speak up lol. And how ignorant is it to assume that we don’t know what foreskin is? I don’t have foreskin and I don’t require lube to jerk off, my body provides natural lube. I feel like I am taking crazy pills with you guys just assuming you know every man’s relationship with their dick just because you feel a certain way about it.

How do you not get that the majority of men are ok giving that decision to their parents, along with the hundreds of other decisions our parents make for us. Do we wait for kids to grow up before letting them decide if they want vaccines, or where they want to be raised, or our diet, or whether or not we’re breastfed, I could go on. The natural order of humanity is to raise your children per your family culture until the time they’re mature to go make their own decisions. Again, it’s not your de…

They’re on the streets? Lol. “Most of the male victims who claim to be satisfied”, WTF? Lol. I have never in my life, not once , met another male who was upset about having their dick circumcised as a child. Not once. I believe you that there are a few, but there are always a few vocal nuts out there on any subject. I think you’ve worked yourself up into a different reality here to think that the majority of males are upset about it. If that were the case, we as a culture wouldn’t continue doing…

It’s not that simple, you’re trying to shove something into a box that doesn’t fit. There’s a HUGE difference in Circumcising your dick as an adult then when you’re newly born. Parents realize this and, sure, maybe they are betting that they hope you want your dick to be circumcised, because well, the VAST MAJORITY of men in my culture do want their dicks circumcised. If not, boohoo, is it so big of a deal for a select few whiny guys that they want to impose that on everyone through law? F that …

Subjectively. Where is the outcry from men across the world that hate their parents for making that decision for them? That is absolutely nonexistent in my culture.

F That, I love my circumcised wien. I’d hate to have to wait until an adult to make that decision, and am thankful my parents did that for me as a baby. This is a family cultural thing and not your decision.
