| -4 | No words..."You can't be sexist against men" is stupid to stay, as is saying "only whites can be racist" as you mention, but I do feel the need to defend "Emma" to a degree. I'm going to talk about it in terms of race because that's easier for me; racism can certainly be perpetuated by all races and towards all races, but racism by white people has much larger institutional effects. This isn't to say that if my parents for some reason decided to raise me as a male (I'm female with female genitalia) that I would then identify as male, feel male, etc. Socially constructed just means that ideas about what it means to be male are cultural and somewhat arbitrary.
