I don't understand. Worst case scenario, the man follows through on the threat and the woman either gets the abortion if it happens early enough or puts the kid up for adoption. For your scenario to happen, the man would be have to be able to sign the legal walk out paper at any time during the kids life, when what we're talking about is really only supposed to equalize the power granted by abortion, i.e. an option during early pregnancy. 1	What accounts for the amount of single mothers in society and how do we fix it? Literally just stop paying women to have kids and, in the case of divorce where the divorcees can't come up with a joint custody plan, whoever makes more money has 100% custody, period. 2	Something nobody talks about My best friend growing up was in this exact situation for most of the time I knew him, that is early middle school to early college. It really fucked him up and pushed him to his biological father who was better for him in some ways but way worse in others.
