How to raise a boy while maintaining your femininity?Being a boy mom is sooo fun & the relationship a mom has with her son is the absolute sweetest! Congratulations! I let my son lead and just go along with his interests trying to make it as fun as possible for him. | /r/RedPillWomen | 16/10/22 06:54 PM
Submission: a rose by any other nameYes! This is so helpful. Our pastor recently spoke about what a huge responsibility parents have to teach the gospel to their children and we shouldn't rely on just the church. He spoke about how back in the day the father would read the bible to the family each night as entertainment & I'd love to do that in our household ( read the Bible before bed, say prayers at night and at meals, etc.) I guess I don't really have to wait for my husband to do that for us. I can do it with my kids and if my … | /r/RedPillWomen | 23/09/22 06:18 PM
Submission: a rose by any other nameMy thought on it is that now I'm leading in a major aspect of our lives since faith seeps into many aspects of daily life which is fine with him since he knows its important to me. So he isn't setting the course and I'm not trusting his judgment in this as the post suggests. I see what you mean when you said I'm following his lead when he gave the green light to spearhead our family's faith. I think thats true. When he is available he will attend church service with us but is not happy to go. Th… | /r/RedPillWomen | 23/09/22 06:08 PM
Submission: a rose by any other nameYes, we were pretty young when we got together and neither of us were really into church, but I've always been very curious about spirituality and religion. We now have a family and I'd like to incorporate everyone or at least make it comfortable for everyone! He let's me lead on this front with our kids bc he knows it's important to me and good for them (which I know isn't biblical or red pill & that's kind of where I struggle) So yes, I changed and that wasn't agreed upon 12 years ago, but wha… | /r/RedPillWomen | 23/09/22 11:49 AM
Submission: a rose by any other nameWe've been together for 12 years and I'd say I came to faith about 5 years ago. | /r/RedPillWomen | 23/09/22 11:40 AM
Submission: a rose by any other nameHe is not very spiritual and not interested in religion although he grew up going to church so he is familiar. I like your arrangement and it is similar to ours. He isnt opposed to me going to church, but isnt always comfortable/supportive with my expression of my faith. Ideally I'd love for our kids to see both parents invested in their faith and both reading the Bible to them, saying prayers aloud before meals and bedtime, etc. | /r/RedPillWomen | 23/09/22 11:37 AM
Submission: a rose by any other name"On RPW we simply suggest that you allow your trusted partner to set the course. Then you both row in the same direction. When he leans right, you lean with him. If he leans right and you stop to argue then you fall off the bike. This tells him that you trust his judgment which he will interpret as love and respect." As far as setting the course goes - if a RPW wants the family to take a different path that the husband isn't really into what do you suggest she do? Express her desire and then let… | /r/RedPillWomen | 23/09/22 02:16 AM
