8	Divorce has been finalized and I decided to look into my ex wife's phone. Now I know, my every thoughts have now been justified. Why do I still feel empty So many people think once the divorce is over everything’s going to be great. On some levels they are, but now you need to give yourself time to heal. 1	Text messages Text messages can be very supportive, but you must have the all of the conversation and metadata to prove authenticity. I used software iMazing.com, gives all metadata, and allows you to search any topic, and prints on 8.5x11 sheets. Audio recordings also very helpful. Just know your states laws when it comes to recording. TX is a 1 party state, as long as I was there when it was recorded it was admissible. 3	Misuse of temporary support Don’t give her more money, yes she’s going to bad mouth you to the kids. So request a Children’s Bill of Rights as well as a Loving and Caring order. If more money is needed for the kids, you buy them what’s needed when they are with you. Do not set a precedence of giving STBXW more money. If possible: suggest the court to order all your communications with STBXW be in writing. 8	How’d it work out in the end when she moved out with the kids Immediately file to keep them in marital home, they have places or sleep. it’s familiar, the friends are nearby, ride the same bus to school etc etc. The court hates all us fathers, but it’s there for the well-being of the kids. The court will establish visitation, temp orders 1st 3rd 5th weekends. Also good to request children’s Bill of Rights, and Loving and Caring order. 1	Ex wife calls kids everyday Yes, Its in the decree, she’s allowed to make the calls. My kids are all teens, they have their own phones and ex can call to her heart’s content. All my communications with their mother are only in writing, there’s no he said she said. I pushed for Our Family Wizard app. When she manipulates, and kids say “one of you is lying to me/us” I allow the kids to read what she’s written (nothing can be deleted) Puts all the liars in same room, so to speak. 8	When to use a TRO? This happens all the time. Mine created specific false DV, Assault on kids allegations. Her pos counsel well known for false allegations. I was tipped off to her plans, was able to hire #1 firm and was ready when they struck. However, locating a property whether paid for in cash or with a loan, can be quite easy. All transactions are recorded as public record with county courthouse & Secretary of State records are online except for very rural or very small areas. 5	Anyone have any good stories about arbitration/mediation successes? Know what you won’t live without, Mine was financial, I received 58/42 percent split overall. 1	What's it like walking away from your kids? I feel the pain in your question, however none of us voluntarily walked away from our kids. I was given 5 days to vacate the property by court.
