Have your own friends, interests, activities and social life. Man oh man, does it get old after a while to someone's everything. She's gotta have her own life too. Additionally be frugal. That doesn't mean don't spend, but that does mean spend on things that are valuable and not impulsive.

It is not true in my experience. In my 30s , I went from dating early/mid twenties to late 20s/early 30s when I was ready to start my family. The young girls are fun, sure, but often lack serious life experience and are still in play mode or getting grips on reality after school. Whereas a woman who has moved from play mode into adult life can determine her next move with better reasoning. Additionally, you as the man should have enough experience to vet the woman you want to give you children.

Yes - thank you for such a robust answer. It’s surprising and disappointing to me to read that y’all get dick pics and low effort greetings. My approach has always been to look at what she’s posting or written about herself and use that to start a conversation. Example; recently matched with a woman who said she’s a writer. I opened with telling her I noticed that, commented that my mother was a published writer to show my investment in the topic, then asked what kind of writing she does. Then c…

If you’re still buying Gillette style razors for ~$8 a pop, you deserve to keep paying for them. Make the switch to single blade. Yeah your initial investment will be ~$30, but I’ve been shaving off the same $10 pack of razor blades (100 count) for more than 3 years.

I mean don’t discount yourself but yeah, if he has a hotter option come around he might take it. Us guys are shitty that way, sorry. The problem for attractive women though is that they rely on that instead of doing what you did, which was learn to be a good lover. Some of the most beautiful women I’ve ever been with had “dead fish” syndrome which was more work than it was worth. They get dropped too. Keep maxxing your personality and skills. Get in better shape and eat better and drink a lot of…

Eh, I don’t mind her saying this. She’s pretty aware of what her friends go through and the fact that she knows he’s a loser and knows her friends think he’s a loser is his fault. Telling her to fuck herself for not helping doesn’t help. If he was lifting, pursuing himself, and more emotionally stable she would probably have a different attitude.

David Deida and Jordan Peterson answer the second question very well in their own rights and when woven together even more so. In my own words I’d say the man is the lantern, the woman is the flame. See when you’ve played this game for a while, you realize that truly feminine women are fresh, light and airy. Their femininity replenishes the soul; they’re passionate, carefree, and with the right nurturing structure to surround them they shine joy into life. For her, that in a man is his structure…

You gotta experience it firsthand man. A capable woman with true power is intoxicating. And I don’t mean bossy, bratty or pugnacious. I mean, she is so in tune with her femininity and allure and uses it. There’s nothing like it and something few possess. It’s difficult to put into words. You feel like the ball of yarn and she is the cat.

I found it hilarious that a lot of women felt misunderstood. ‘Where do you want to eat tonight?’ ‘Hmm I dunno.’ ‘Are you in the mood for anything?’ ‘I dunno maybe’ ‘What about x?’ ‘Hmmm...’ ‘What about y?’ ‘Uhhhhmmm...’ etc, etc. Like they’re doing the same for everything else. WebMD; ‘What are your symptoms?’ ‘Hmmm I dunno.’ ‘When did it start?’ ‘ I dunno...’

Big irony on her part; when she heard hubby’s relationship podcast was hosted by women she could relax.

Definitely NTA. Not his kid, not his problem and a lot of commenters got that, in today’s climate, helping out a child or being around children as a man is risky. What if he went to help the kid and then the kid bit him? Then the mother would’ve been “What are you doing to my son?”

Broooo this about triggered me. My ex-wife tried this maneuver on the highway one time. We were arguing over something inconsequential and she just undid her seatbelt and opened the door. Good thing I was able to grab her arm and pull over. I cannot even begin to imagine what kind of disaster this could have turned into. And same goes for the guy in the video. She must have had a history of this behavior before since he was wise to record. I’d bet she would try to blackmail him. Sad.

Chill out bro. It gets better and it gets easier. Quit the porn; it’s making you weak. College is not the end. Actually, college is typically not the best anyway, it’s just been romanticized because it sells movie tickets. Real life is much better. Pick up a useful hobby like martial arts and go get some counseling.

A problem that is unfortunately pervasive among women. Too bad “carrying the conversation” isn’t additional work factored into the wage gap analysis. Then there’d be bitching over a $0.50/hr discrepancy.

Do. NOT. Beyond beta, it’s just retarded. She’s gonna want you to spend it on her because most women have no idea how money works. They just see it and spend it.

I dated a stripper a while ago. She was super cool and hot as hell but she was absolutely unstable, like most women who wind up in the sex-work world. However, her insight I still find incredibly invaluable to this day. She told me that the majority of men who would hire her for private dances would ultimately use their time as an ad hoc therapy session. The men would want to talk to her about their feelings, lives and wives, because they 1) never got the opportunity to speak to a beautiful woma…

Well first of all, don’t let that shit get to your head. She chose to be born into her circumstances in life just as much as you did. That being said, do know that you’re in an interesting situation, but not unfathomable. Men used to be measured in how much they earned, now with women in the workforce dominating men in most categories requiring degrees, this situation is becoming more common. You have to know and own your strengths rather than look to your gaps. If she’s been over to your place …

This is a great idea. I have a friend who, through his military enlistment, gained skills that qualify him for some jobs inaccessible to normal folks. He regularly travels the world going to oil rigs, dykes, dams, etc to work on their equipment. He earns 6 figures and works 6 months a year. Last I saw he was in Central America having a goooood time. - If that doesn’t sound appealing, you’ll at least learn how to be in order, timely and accountable which makes getting jobs in other fields more li…

Hah - well some blackpill for you; I’m fit, good looking and always aced math. I’m also charismatic, charming and competent as fuck. I can draw really well too. I did tattooing and painted murals to make money in college, but during my senior year I started dating the girl who became my ex wife. I was a natural alpha, but simped up pretty hard for this girl. Her family was really wealthy and mine wasn’t at all; my 70+ year old dad is a WalMart greeter, her dad owns several businesses all started…

Have you ever seen the movie Dodgeball? There’s a character named Gordon whose wife appears to be a mail-order bride. She constantly mocks and shames him in front of their children. Not a dynamic any man would want. I think you’re also assuming there are quality men waiting on the leftovers. Would you go to a steakhouse and be happy with leftover, cold pizza?

I did this. When we were first married my ex-wife wanted to start a business. We were broke as a joke, early 20s, but every excess dollar I made went into her business because I believed in her. Five years later she’s doing really well but keeps the money for herself and doesn’t contribute back into the household, except for buying groceries occasionally. At that time, my upwardly moving career stalled out due to legislation changes in my industry that later went away. But during that time as my…

Fuck yes. BJJ and Muay Thai have changed my whole approach to life. Nothing like walking into a room knowing you can take anyone on. It’s not that you want to, but the subtext of your presence changes.

I’ve struggled with this idea too. At what point do you want to surrender your autonomy? When do the benefits of this woman outweigh the alternatives inherent to your lifestyle? How valuable are the other freedoms you desire? Having a woman, a good one, can make life pretty fantastic. She can also make it hell, sometimes without notice. If you’re not ready to settle down but you’ve already committed to her things will likely not go well. You may be excited because it’s new and fresh and exciting…
